Mighty Morphing Power Pets in Cata

So the Scarlet Tracking Hound (Hyena) is morphing into the Scarlet Tracking Hound (Dog) in Cata and the Silithid Swarmer (Scorpid) is morphing into the Silithid Swarmer (Beetle). Anyone know of any other pet morphs happening? Thanks

I don't call that a morph, just a skin change . I don't want to list those as there is already a post on skin changes. I'm looking for pet family changes. Thanks tho

To be honest I love some of the model changes, some of the old ones just seemed way to over used. Most of the hyenas that the Scarlet Crusade have been using will be swapped over to the new hound models (can't remember if it's all of them off the top of my head ).

Yeah I know. Buuut

Well I thought the few new builds would have taken that away. But glee! Not. Let's hope it makes it to Cata <3

I'm just hoping they don't decide to change the NPC ID number, so I can have a lvl 80 hound dog and a lvl 80 beetle already in my stables when Cata hits

I would kill to keep Meza (insert long drawn out story of her tame here). It's nice that I can go grab a hound once Cata hits but I hate the idea of losing the pet that I'm most attached too. Sure I can go grab another model with the same skin, but it wont be the pet I've had my my side all these years.

Same.. I would be saddened if I were to lose my buddy Horakk. I really do hope no bug or anything causes him (he's a tan silithid ravager) to lose his current skin/model.

And I really dislike the new Silithid walking look. Sure the mounts also have it, but it makes him seem.. sad.

And Qraljar and I (we share him : > ) always keep him HAPPY. No matter what.

I don't like that walking animation either. Sure, it fits the mounts kinda', makes them seem a bit more... Official, but I think it will look awful on the pets. Not the least because, when they run, their butts are up, but every time you stop the pet starts doing the walk when he's a few yards away from you. So it will be Butt up > Butt down > Butt up. Stupid, in other words.

There is a rare red hyena coming in i think... Tanaris? You can release your own Meza into the wild and maybe re-tame her in some epic way. Like after releasing her you realize its a mistake and you go looking for her.. and you find her being the last of her kind?

Whoah whoah whoah - are you saying that current tames of a silithid swarmer will change into the worker e.g. the antlike model e.g. the model that is otherwise NOT TAMABLE AT ALL ANYWHERE?? I thought that one was made into a beast but not tamable...

I just tested this again, and unfortunately the new Silithid Swarmers have evidentally recieved a new ID, so any existing tamed swarmers are removed when copied over to beta.
