Sorry Gondria hunters!

Unread post by Skorpius »

I feel kinda bad, no I didn't kill him.

I feel bad for the hunters who have camped hours and hours for Gondria, because I tamed him last night at 12:45 on my first fly by..

NPC Scan didn't even go off, I just saw a yellow dot in my face, flew down so so nervous that I stuffed the frost trap, aggro'd 2 mobs plus Gondria, FD, jumped back up, and the snow leopard was still right near me invisible, aggro'd him again while taming a frozen Gondria. It all worked out in the end though.

I must add though that I've wanted Gondria as my No 1 since hitting level 50 and thinking, can't wait for 77, gonna get him right away. Well I didn't cause I thought it would be a long haul.. I was gladly wrong!

Nope. No reason to apologize. By the way, congrats on getting Gondria. Sounded quite the effort to get. :)

I see no reason to apologize.

I have tamed Gondria 3-4 times, and have seen him wandering around 2-3 other times.

He is usually my first Spirit Beast I drop if i want to try out a different pet, because he is so easy to find.

I need more hunters, IMO.

Haha, that's how I tamed Gondria too! Was in Zul'Drak and just thought 'well... it wouldn't hurt to look' and BAM. She's my little buddy :D

Congrats!

Congrats! She's my favorite SB and I miss her dearly. I re-tamed her in beta, I hope my luck holds out when the stable expansion goes live, too...... :)

Dont feel bad, sometimes you just get lucky with some things and very unlucky with others.

On my hunter this year i have recieved both Brewfest mounts in the bags (kodo and ram), but will the Zulian Tiger or the White Polar Bear mount ever drop for me? Not a chance

Just an aside...
You have to manually add Gondria to NPCscan, for anyone who is using that to help look for this beautiful spirit beast.

I just tamed Gondria for the 2nd time today myself! Extremely easy find, my mage was wandering around looking for herbs, spamming my "target rares" macro I've made for myself, and she popped up. I was shaking as I flew to ZD to tame her (my huntress doesn't have an epic flyer) but she was patiently waiting for me. She and Rak'shiri are getting along very well!

I had Gondria on my Troll huntress, but the spectral cat just wasn't fitting well with Ikult. She later released Gondria in favour of Skoll, and has been much happier with her hyper worg.

I just ran into Gondria today again, and thought , oh well why not.

I always thought she looked a bit wierd and previously when i came across her i had my hunter friend come and tame her.

I took her myself this time, and I can say that I really like her look a lot more than I thought I would originally.

Same thing happened to me. My first fly by looking for her and there she was, waiting for me. Guess it was meant to be. Gratz on the tame!

Further to my Gondria story, I just tamed Loque the same way last night. Now I am feeling so damn lucky I'm going over to Storm Peaks for the trifector lol.

No need to apologize, man. I nabbed Arcturis, Skoll, Loque, AND Skoll the same way. I happened to fly by and there they all were. AND to add to the "luck" factor, I nabbed them all in the say day. All four spirit beasts within a 24 hour period. I was sorely tempted to go out and get a lottery ticket, let me tell ya. lol

Grats on your new buddy! :)

Thanks, I always thought Gondria would be my favourite, but I gotta say, Loque is definitely out more I am absolutely loving her.. (funny I see Loque as a she and Gondria as a he).. Now my karma for thinking this job easy is coming back, Skoll is eluding me really badly.. And there are a LOT of other hunters out looking too.

Hey, all's fair in love and rare hunting. I found my Gondria on the first lookabout; she was right beside that one shrine around, with the icepaw bears. I liked her, except for seeing her face through her butt. -3- I ditched her for Arcturis.
