Brainbugs and Colossus are now smaller.

Unread post by Dare »

I apologize for not updating my previous pet dps thread like I intended... real life got rather... real, basically.

But now I have beta reinstalled, and upon login, my Colossus is now a smaller version. Still large enough to satisfy me, but no more gigantic bugs.

At least this shows Blizzard is letting us keep them. :)

Good! That was a major concern of mine, I wouldn't want one if it was huge like before. Thanks for the pic! :)

Aww... They nerfed my buggie! Ah well, I get to keep it, that's what matters! :P

Personally, I think the change is good. They're certainly smaller than before, but still have plenty of bulk.

While I also think the change is good...call me self-ish..but I always get the same feeling when it comes to big, bulky exotics being turned into mini versions...Same with the Corehound back in Wotlk beta or Devilsaur...well, Devilsaur didn't exactly have the wide "bulk" but still. I understand completely why they had to fix the size, and this means we'll be able to tame them for good. Just the size feels awkward now for a "COLOSSUS" to have. Could've been the Ultralisk of hunter pets. ;)

I finally found Ainamiss on my second day of beta, and was rather sad it was so small after taming.

I did send in a suggestion that day saying they could increase the size a tad, to make them a little bigger.

I agree. Or are Devilsaur sizes nerfed too? Else they could just be devilsaur-sized. I see no problem. They look abit off being so small. Smaller than Qiraji Tanks o_o whilst even the modelviewer skin says;

SilithidTankBossSkin

I doubt a boss is smaller than the normal warriors xD!

But yeah. Beta is beta. ANYTHING can change :P

I think that's the perfect post-tame size actually, seems to fit well. I suppose a bit bigger wouldn't hurt.

Agreed. A little big bigger would be nice, but if not then this is still a fine size

That's what I said, they look kinda cute now x)

And I really wouldn't want to RP with a HUGE silithid.

I'm really surprised and happy with Blizz for this. It seems like a happy accident where they listened to what the players wanted. I'm glad those who wanted them can have them now.

Yep. That's the best of it. I don't care about the size. We actually have them! I mean, I had slim hopes of it being ever intentional but I guess Blizz felt abit sad for accidently holding an awesome pet infront of our noses, dangling and then taking it away.

Sometimes I despise, detest and then suddenly love Blizz with a passion. (Not in a creepy-stalkerish way, mind you.)

Oh thank goodness! I was very worried that due to size, Blizz's quick-fix would be to just get rid of them. Now I feel so much relief!

Thank you for sharing!

I prefer it to being too big. Gets really annoying in confined spaces if your pet is the size of a house! :)

I think they got a little size increase from the previous picture that was posted before. So, to me, they aren't "smaller". I'm glad they upped the size for Collosuses a little. I suggested that on the public test realms. It's a good size for 'em. And yeah, I too wish they hadn't decreased the size of Devilsaur's so much. I miss the sheer size of Devilsaur's in the Burning Crusade beta. I like huge pets.
Robot Wars is renewed for 6 episodes! I love some Exotic pets! And I hate spiders for.. "pets"!

I like it when they changed it to Harakiss The Untamble :) i reckon they did that to tease us so we could whine but behide it they were laughing at us. I reckon they were just fixing it and making us all feel sad for few days then boom every1 happy:D
