Renaming a pet

I have had CutiePie for quite some time.. I LOVE the look.. but the name.. MEH. It was just something i came up with because i think that she looks cute.
Now im wondering about renaming her...

Sofare i only have one option in my head, Sahara (Tamed the worm in silithius). I wanted something to go with the dessert that i tamed her in, i somewhat like Sahara.. but feel its kinda well not quite rigth. Im not looking for some Egyptian theme name, but rather something dessert like.. and sadly the only dessert i know is Sahara..

I could use a little help before renaming my golden treasure



Another name i have thougth of is Beloved... but somehow i dont think it fit a worm.. Long time ago, i saw someone with brokentooth and it was named Beloved... always wanted a pet named that for some odd reason .. but a worm ?

I was thinking... are there any "Lush" deserts? Not just gold and no water/plant/animals etc... Maybe a desert with alot of sand, but also very lush oasis?
I almost have a story going with the worm that she roams the desert (the no water part of it), but during fullmoon (or some other natural event) she appears in the lush oasis to feed on the apples/water/green etc.. making her a nomads tale.. the tale about the golden worm..

@ Veph.. i like the name Sinai.. But its also a religious name that means something for many people, so due to that i wont name my worm Sinai.. else my favorite next to Sahara

Vegas is another one of my favorites... beside being a desert region it has something to do with gold (due to the money you can win there). Will fit her collor

Heh im danish my self have thougth about naming my pet ørken.. but there is a danish comedy grp called Ørkenes Sønner (Sons of the dessert), and they have really rude, sexual humor so i kinda stayed away from that !

Accually i tried to name the worm Godis, best word for candy yet, but since its also english for god is, its not a valid name

I tried naming a pet Godis too, I was kinda' sad when it wouldn't let me.
