I got very Important Question to ask before Next week patch

Since we be getting our BIG 20 slot pet stables next week in 4.0.1. I got a big question i would to ask.


Well i got a bugged pet is a Ghost hydra i dont want to loose him at all, I heard the pet stables are abit bugged and you loose pets etc... has that been fix? please let me know if it not fix i will let the Game Master know before it release.

I've heard there's still stable issues on the PTR and Beta, which concerns me a bit with this patch coming out next week. I can only pray that Blizzard has fixed those glitches....I hate to think of waking up to the new stables and seeing pets missing. x_x

I have never lost a previously existing pet to the stable bug on the PTR, so hopefully that means our current five at least will be safe.

I have all four Spirit Beasts and the broodmother, Zarakh, from Bloodmyst isle. I will be very unhappy to lose any of them, since they're all total pains to get back.

Reason why so i can proove i got this pet ages ago while it was bugged to tame the pet.

I doubt that bug will make it onto live as they would have to restore a lot of pets. =P I'm betting it'll be fixed before Tuesday.

Please don't waste a GM's time when there's no issue to report. Especially when 4.0 is going to generate enough real issues.

They already have records of the pets you've tamed. As other threads have pointed out, people *have* been able to get pets they'd abandoned restored. It's unlikely they'd do that without real evidence.

i had to relese lots of rarespawns over the past year im going to ask if i can get some of the pets i have abandond back i have had all the spirit beasts appart from skoll as well as that parrot from sholozar. I was once able to get my pet back before but this will be intresting to see if they can get my old pets back due to lack of space with the old stables. I read once that some one was able to get back a pet from over a year ago!

Umm... People? The GMs will be busy enough without restoring pets for you. Really, you're just wasting everybody's time, since:
1. They'll just respond "No can do, you abandoned it willingly", even the nice ones, because they will simply have too much to do to restore pets for every hunter everywhere.
2. You abandoned them willingly to get another pet. GMs aren't there to serve you whenever you want. You wouldn't call customer support at your computer's manufacturer if you wanted a deleted file back.

I have lost quite a few times some pets on the beta stables. Namely the the rare bird in the basin at northrend and the infestor silithid colossi model...bloody thing disappeared one me twice. >_< Cant remember most of the others I lost.

Any support questions for example bugs and cant log in is ment to be reported in the appropriate forums. In game GM's are ment to help with the loss of data loot drops and reporting of ninjas.

It's still extra work, and really, you can't blame Blizz for not abandoning your own pet. You can call it an accident, sure, but abandoning it, and then instantly taming a rare like, say, Krush, isn't an accident. Besides, if people start going "I abandoned this pet back in TBC, but I really liked it... Can you give it back to me?" we will most likely see them implement some kind of "no pet-return"-policy, and that would just be counter-productive.

I think i'm going to put in a ticket to get my Arcturis back, i know he's not a hard one to camp, I just dont want to go through waiting for that long again, and well if i get a nice GM to do it for me, it doesnt hurt to try.

On top of things that are actually broken.

The pets can wait, in all honesty. If too many hunters go clamoring for restores on patch day, Blizzard may decide "hey, this is just abuse of the system" and say no to everyone.

I'm not saying not to ask eventually. Just wait a few days or weeks so things have a chance to settle down a little.
