Made some hunters day

Unread post by HunterKiko »

So logged on this morning and was flying around the Basin as I stumbled across Loque. I already had him and did /who to see if any hunters wanted to tame him for themselves. Sadly no horde hunters were there at the time. :(

Luckily an alliance friend of mine logged on and came to the Basin and /who'd. Sure enough a level 79 hunter was there and said that he had been camping Loque for weeks. He came and got his tame. :)

He was very grateful. :D

I wish more people were like you, I really do. Today I had to try convincing another hunter, the same faction as I am no less, to NOT kill Loque if someone else was taming it.

I was out herbalizing a long time back in the Basin. I didn't take Loque out with me so I would keep from triggering someone's NPCscan. And I looked up to see Loque walking towards me. I was like, "what are you doing out of the stable?" I who'd SB and found the first hunter to respond. She had to go stable her pet before running out to me. She didn't even have Cold Weather yet. I just played with him while she was heading over. And then I l helped with her tame. She told me afterward that her leveling partner told her that she'd come out of the Basin with one of the rares. lol

I knew a guy that killed Loque because he already had him on his hunter. Minutes later a guy logged on looking for Loque. I personally couldn't imagine killing him. It seemed so much nicer to give him to fellow hunter.

This happened yesterday morning, WHILE I was circling. An alliance hunter came out, saw Loque, /who'd the basin to see if anyone needed him. When no *Alliance* whispered back, he killed the cat just to reset the damned timer! Some poor orc hunter flew right over him and saw the corpse, then relayed it to the horde still hunting.

Really, just because your faction doesn't say anything, doesn't mean that NOBODY wants him! You may think you're being nice, but it's nicer to just walk away and leave him alone.
