Tips for how to tame "the sewer beast" as an horde

Maybe create an alliance human character and position him where the Sewer Beast spawns. Have your horde positioned in the water and logged out, and wait until the spawn. Then when he spawns, do a quick switch and hope for the best ^_^;

Granted, this won't work on a pvp server. :/

Why won't it work on a PVP server?

The restriction about having characters on both factions was removed a while back.

Oh geez...something I've dreamed about doing in the past and was partially considering attempting in Cataclysm.

I've never seen the Sewer Beast in person, but I absolutely love him for being such a cool crocolisk rare. Good luck with getting him!

Elixir of Water Walking can be really useful while you're out checking all of the spawn points. You can just ride around in the canal instead of going out of the way to cross bridges and such.

Good luck with taming him. I've seen him alive once, but never got the chance to tame him.

I had my alliance hunter parked over sw and she will always patrol around the spawning point while my horde hunter is logged out at stv. When I saw the red/yellow dot(cant remember) I logged in to my horde hunter asap and the orc made the journey of her life, and this was done during off-peak hours so that I wouldn't get ganked. She managed to escaped the guards and succesfully tamed the beast while under water.

only problem is walking on the water makes me close enough for the guards to pull i think...i'm hiding deeps under the water...hoping they don't see me i got killed twice...the first one was expected..i ran into stormwind through the main gate...i ressed in the water i logged out for an while dinner

it seems i was killed in those twenty secs of game quiting...

atm i'm out of SW but i'll come back! am in ellwyn

It's not going to be just the guards you're going to have to worry about. lol It's other players flagged PvP. Of course you know that.

Well last patch, hunters had aspect of the beast, which makes us untrackable, add that with being underwater will make the hunter almost undetected. On the other hand, Camouflage at 85 (stealth while stationary) seems good too

The change to water effects has also made this task more difficult in that you can now see through the surface of the water, and thus easily spot anyone who's hiding in there, even if they've made themselves untrackable with a potion.

I've never found any concrete info on his spawn timer other than 'a long time'. :s
