Devilsaurs and Freeze Trap
A hunter in my Guild just got Krush and said he set a freeze trap that worked on it. I thought that the traps did not work on the Krush or Mosh but is this a change since the last patch?
It will make taming quite a bit easier if it works as my hunting continues.
Thanks

Yep that was the first I ever heard of it but perhaps since 4.0 there was a change. But not sure.

Krush MOCKS your puny traps. I think he and Mosh were the only ones immune. I'll try if I see him tonight

He didn't work on my trap, and that was after 4.0.1. I didn't know the devilsaurs were immune, so I used a trap and screamed like a baby when he snarled at my pathetic trap and ate my face off.

I feel for you, but that was back when my nooby hunter was cruising around Un'Goro, being ganked by the devilsaurs there that are resistant to frost aura traps.

Methinks your friend is mistaken.

I also tamed Krush post 4.0, and I think I may have noticed tiny bits and pieces of my freezing trap in-between his toes as I was trying to tame him (I drop it out of habit when taming. Its right above my tame button). Clearly Devilsaurs exceed freezing traps weight tolerances. I'd suggest taking it up with the manufacturer, but personally, I make my own. Its the only way to be sure of the quality.

I JUST tamed Krush (GLEE) and he's immune to frost AND freeze (Owch). He also still hits like a truck.
