Looking to move to Nesingwary in Cata [Edited]

I'm just going to quote my post on a recent turn of events. In a nutshell, I'm going to just make a new toon on Nesing once I hit 85.

As much as I would like to have my main on Nesing, it looks like I'm going to just make a new toon altogether.
I ran into a really really good buddy of mine (we go way back) just a few days ago. We spent about an hour and a half catching up when I told him I was looking for a new realm to call home for Cata. He said I should come over to his guild on Doomhammer. Mind you, I haven't seen him or the rest of my old group of good friends since all the way back in vanilla WoW. It would be really awesome to see everyone from "the good ol' days" again. So please no one take my change of mind as a personal affront. =)



I'm still most definitely going to be rolling a new alt on Nesing once I get my main to 85.
A fresh start on a completely new realm sounds like it could actually be pretty fun anyway.

So carry on being the awesome guild that you are because I plan to join you sometime in the not-to-distant future. :]

You can always make alts here first to test the waters too - before plunking down RL gold!

I only have experience with the low-level economy - my main toon on there is in her 40s now and my death knight just started getting playtime now - but I'd say that it's very much seller's market. At low levels, anyway. I'm dual gathering on both toons, and things are selling at high prices.

One in particular is what's the economy (horde side specifically) like?

You'd want to ask Ketchaeatcha about that. He actually has most (if not all) of the realm's economy in his pocket.

I'm used to a different economy but I was able to go from 1500-5890g within 5 days.. give or take. Mostly chaining all the dailies I could and selling off enchanting supplies and rugged leather. It varies. I'd say watch the AH for a week and see when the peak days are and capitalize.

I also adore Nesingwary as a server, I was afraid it'd be like some of the bigger raiding servers that I have been on.. it's much more mature. MUCH MUCH more mature. I was surprised because I wasn't aware servers could exist without excessive cursing and trolling on the trade channel and possible threats made against other players lives.

In all seriousness though, we do tons of silly events. Sometimes they're scheduled, and sometimes they're kinda spur of the moment. If you like that sort of thing this is the place for you; we've done hide and seek, races, played tag, done hunting events, rp events, lower raid events, and I'm sure if you had more suggestions Ryno'd be willing to listen. They are epically awesome events (even if I'm a bad guildie and don't always make it to them).

As Kalli suggested, I'd highly suggest just making a lowbie alt and leveling it to 10 or so in your spare time, just to figure out what it's like over here. You can check out the economy, join a guild event (most of them are doable at low levels) and just hang out and see what the people are like. It's worth it

I might just have to make an alt with 4.0.3 so I can multitask. Check the server/guild out and give some of the new lowby quests a try at the same time. ;D

as everyone has said, it is alot of fun! i think we have every profession covered in our guild xD and we always have a good time! and yeah camping rare parties are not rare in our guild be it KK or araga there is normally bound to be a nice chunk of people willing to sit and wait with you. everyone is very willing to help also we have our guild events on friday which can be anywhere from hide and seek, to just random parties in random places you normally dont go to. we also been doing some old school raids, like kara,zg,mc, tempest keep, and we have so much fun. ryno always tries to make sure that anyone can attend the guild events on friday. It is truelly a wonderful guild! that is why i moved ALL my toons over to the server and put them in the guild, minus my bank toon xD

like everyone said if you not sure make an alt and feel out the server and the guild!

Was going to say the same thing. Make an alt (or 2) I had started out with horde characters, but my friends convinced me they wanted to play alliance. I still am playing with them on Tanaris, but decided to create an Alt on Nessingwary. The guild is a great group of people, more than happy to help and quite fun. I ended up moving the horde characters I had sitting around, but found that it was the alt that I first created that I play because she built herself up in the group.

Another thing to know about us is that we are supportive. You want a pet that's in an instance? Speak up, ask us politely. There's at one if not two or three players willing to take a little time to help you get your armored boar or blue wind serpent.

Having a bad day? The guild will offer you a friendly ear, a pat on the back, a hug, tea and cookies.

Need to get somewhere to get that pet your level 10 really really wants? We have several members with multi-person mounts, willing and able to provide taxi service to points far and wide.

Camping a rare? Ten to one you'll be helped in the effort. Lots of us are old hands at watching and waiting for a rare to show.

We're a fun loving group. We love nonsense, rare camps, reputation grinds and instances. We joke, goof off, and make each other hungry. Some of us PvP. Some Quest.
