I just recently hit 77 on my latest hunter and I have gondoria on another that I unfrontantly do not have the money to transfer to my new server. When I got him on that hunter it was by chance pure chance I was just flying over and boom there he was. I am trying to to do one of two things:
1) Talk myself into that fact that he's worth the wait
2) He's not worth the long hours of camping and what not and I should just focus on getting to 80 and ready for cata and my ghost wolf I have always wanted.
I am on Velen and it's just so ug I see almost every hunter with them but I can't seem to get lucky engouh to find any of the spirit beasts again. Right now for pets I mainly us my tanking, Pinchers the white/blue scorpid or Tiny the Northrend Mohawked Worm. I have a plague hound right now for my dps one I pull out depending on the dungeon.

Re: To Camp or not to Camp
Well, you've already got her on one toon.
I'd level to 80 and then go camp the hell out of her, snag her before cata drops and then go get the other one too! From what I hear of PTR reports, you can quest fine in the cata start areas without icc gear
Best of both worlds...
