Blue Beetle: Is It Just Me? (possible quest spoilers)

For the rest of you: am I the only one who felt really bad at the end of the questline at The Gaping Chasm? When we had to capture the beetle, and they shouted 'It's afraid!', that made me sad. Then when they stuffed it full of explosives and turned it into a bomb? And *I* had to control it?



Let's just say that I now have a big blue beetle in my stable, because I felt *THAT* guilty. I don't know if I'll keep him yet!

That sounds really horrible, I'd feel bad too Blizz is making more an more uncomfortable quests. I didn't like the ones where you had to cut up the valkerie guys in Northrend and now in Azshra I had to cut down trees. As a druid, was not really enjoying it.

You mean before they made the sequel that was screeching Oh it's the bad humans making the war machine happen and the bugz just want peace!!! BS movie.

And eh i see it as the Silithid are a pretty evil force- they're not supposed to be in Tanaris, nor Ungoro or Southern Barrens. They were locked up in Silithus for a reason.

I was going to make a macinama where a hunter has a yellow slithid and Rico kills it, so the hunter gets pissed and pulls his next pet, a Brain Bug slithid. Rico panics and the Brain bug does what it does in the movie. Sucks out his brains. It ends with the hunter going. "DUUDE I didnt know you could do that......THIS BEATS THE HELL OUT OF THE UNDEADS CANABALISE! Common lets go do a BG"

That's one of the earlier comics in the Dark Legacy Comics series. It's still going, so I'm sure you could meander over to the DLC forums and ask Keydar (the guy behind the comic) for permission if you really want to do this.

There's a difference between plagurism and coincidence, the former is basically taking the idea, changing only miniscule amounts and trying to pass it off as your own. Coincidence, in this case, HAPPENS.

I liked controlling the bug. It makes a lot more sense than running all the way down there myself and nuking it. I also liked chopping up the vrykul, because really, it makes sense. Just leaving corpses in a Scourge stronghold? Yeah, great idea. Where's the quest to chop down trees? I wanna' do that too, but it'd make a lot more sense to chop up those Ancient guards the nelves have. You'd be taking out their primary guards AND get wood! Win-Win!

A lot of the quests made me feel a little sad. This is the first one to make me adopt a pet and make me go "It's OK. I'll take care of you now!" though.

Thousand Needles was full of them! Mind you, I play Alliance, and I don't know how the Horde side holds up there.

Well, while the Second movie may have sucked (I haven't even seen it aired on TV, which says something), the 3rd movie, Marauder, wasn't half bad. Hell, it brought Rico back in as the main character, and felt more like a proper sequel.

TBH, none of the Starship Troopers are good-good, but the first and third are at least bad-good. It's as if they were planning to make a B-quality Sci-Fi right from the start.
