Spiny Raptor after volcano

I wanted a Spiny Raptor, but I ended up with a volcano'd Lost Isle. I still got to a small area with some!

If you go to Town-In-A-Box's ruins, and head up (lava ground is safe), you can head to oomlot village. There is a gap in the cliff around it at 58,65. Then head to 63,60 and there is a field with several raptors.

Does anyone know if there is a stable master in Town-In-A-Box before it is destroyed? I couldn't find one.

EDIT: Oh! and when I tamed the raptor, it was completely happy, which was good, as I was out of meat.

Do you know yet if this is the phase that non-goblins have access to? If so, then these raptors aren't as goblin-exclusive as was thought.

Non-goblins do not have access to Lost Isles at all. There's just no way to enter the place.

It could be possible to completely level a goblin warlock to 10 in the phased area, then level up on battlegrounds and dungeons, to summon people there...

Or recruit a friend summons...

Unlikely, but I still think this sounds like a fun side project. Just sayin'.

You can't queue for dungeons or BGs till you leave Lost Isles. Even if you somehow did and got the summon, the other player would be unable to get in there.

can confirm these raptors do not phase out completely after the volcano blows, they just relocated a little. hunter at level 11, found and successfully tamed one north of the remodeled oomlot village exactly where OPs 2nd pic shows on the world map.

I have one on my goblin hunter on Doomhammer (Wickette), but really wished I could get one on my alliance hunter on Feathermoon (Mearra)...shame

Thank you so much for posting this. I had started a goblin hunter solely for this pet and was so crushed when I couldn't find any when I dinged level 10 after I turning in the quest where everything blows up. I was determined to have my color changing raptor so I actually re-started the character and this time I ground out the level before I did that part of the quest. At least this info will save people from having to go raptorless or re-starting as I did.

Nope.

Could anyone Confirm that the raptor will stay there until the last quest on the island ? So you can train the raptor just before leaving the island?

Confirmed that the guild perk 'Have group, will travel' won't work.
You can still get the summon, but nothing happens after you clicked it

I got got to level 10 before the volcano exploded and tamed my raptor, Professions help alot in exp for anyone who wants to tame one before volcano blows

Are you sure? I'd thought the only fixed color raptor from there was yellow - the low level fixed color red raptor (spiky and otherwise) I believe come from Durotar / troll starting area?

But again not 100% sure since I haven't played on my goblin in a while and haven't checked. I will check tonight and see. I named her Ruby because she always stayed red

My spint raptor alwayts changes colour when summoned, I think yours is glicthed red
