Hey guys, just wanted to get your opinions on some stuff
I've been around since vanilla wow, quit and am back for wotlk. Now that I'm in cata, I'm kinda bored (lose enthusiasm towards the end, main is almost 83!) and so I decided to play an alt. I had been playing my elemental shaman but my interest has sort of fizzled out for whatever reason. I was wondering how many of you guys had multiple hunters, even on the same server? I've tried every single class there is but none of them are very fun for me... but hunters (and druids, my first 60 back in the day!!) are my favorite. I talked to my boyfriend and I got the typical "that's stupid, you have a hunter!" talk. :/
I might make one on Nessy, if there's room in either the ally or horde guilds. :3 I don't really make friends on wow anymore so I never have a guild so at least belonging somewhere would be nice.
at any rate, do you have mutiple hunters or am I crazy?

No. You're not crazy in the least. I have multiple hunters across two realms. The Hunter is my all time favorite class. I like the other classes. But the Hunter class is my first, current, and last love. My guild leader (and closest friend) on Moon Guard also has multiple Hunters. So, no. You're sane.

I think it's pretty safe to say that nobody on these boards will think you're insane for wanting to play multiple hunters, Miraga
I have four hunters, across 3 realms, as you can probably guess from my signature pic. I think the wide variety of pets we can tame, and the completely different leveling experiences of the three different specs prevent this class from ever being boring.
Besides, with every alt hunter you have, it doubles the amount to pets you can tame! If you just gotta catch 'em all, it's really the only way to play

The first thing I did when the Sundering hit was log off one of my 80 hunters, switch servers, and roll another hunter (and am considering leveling another durid too ;p).
Pfft, it ain't crazy. In fact for a hunter it's normal just because there are SO many different combinations of pets and player styles, so it always feels new.
On Nesingwary alone I have 3 hunters. One level 80 Alli, one level 80 Horde, and a new undead hunter. It's very fun because some pets you would never consider on one type of character, fit so well with others (case in point: I could never see my NE with a core hound, but my tauren has one and she looks great with it).
You can also do themes and such with pets, which a lot of people do here too (all white pets, a naming theme, etc etc).
They're just FUN, it's worth rolling more than one

I have a 2 Alliance hunters on the same server, one a beast master Draenei and the other a survival Worgan. Like you the only other class I've really enjoyed (and still not as much as hunters) are druids, and kinda like you when I said I was going to roll a worgan hunter my best friend's response was, 'but you've already got a hunter'. Non-hunters just don't seem to get it.
this is the rundown on my MAIN server only... I have various hunters on at least 4 other servers
Account 1:
HORDE
2 x level 80 Hunters (leathercrafter/skinner, herbalist/miner)
1 x level 76 Hunter (Scribe/herbalist)
1 x level 72 S.Priest (enchanter/tailor... companion to the level 72 Hunter on account 2)
1 x 71 Death Knight (enchanter)
1 x 33 S.Priest (bank alt) recently deleted level 17 Paladin, to make room for upcoming Worgen Hunter ALLIANCE
1 x level 45 Hunter (leathercrafter/skinner)
Account 2:
HORDE
2 x level 80 Hunters (tailor/skinner, alchemist/herbalist)
1 x level 72 Hunter (blacksmith/miner... companion to my 72 S.Priest)
1 x level 70 Druid (tailor/enchanter.. soon to be deleted, when the level 72 S.Priest on the other account hits 75)
1 x level 59 Death Knight (unplayed for the last year, exists only because my husband has one also)
1 x level 42 F. Mage (she's my portal-person)
1 x level 26 Warrior (had to try it)
1 x level 13 Shaman (again, had to try) recently deleted level 17 Paladin, to make room for upcoming Worgen Hunter ALLIANCE
1 x level 45 Hunter (companion to my Alliance Hunter on the other account)
Account 3:
HORDE
1 x level 80 Warlock (jewellerycrafter/miner... companion to one of the level 80 hunters on account 1)
1 x level 60 Death Knight (my husband's character)
1 x level 42 Hunter (leathercrafter/skinner... companion to level 42 Warlock on account 1)
1 x level 36 Hunter (unplayed in 2 years)
1 x level 33 Shaman (my husband's character, companion to my level 33 bank alt)
1 x level 11 priest (hubby's character, unplayed in 2 years)
1 x level 5 warlock (hubby's character, unplayed in 2 years)
I have a lot of "companion" characters.. I dual and triple box, so I tend to play same-leveled characters together only. But as you see, only on my main server, I have 10 Hunters. Soon 12 (13 if I also add one on account 3) when I add my Worgen Hunters.

A bit of palindromic wisdom: "Step on no pets!" Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis I love pets - combat or non. <That Kind of Orc> guild on The Scryers, small, casual LGBT and friends guild, join us Horde-side.
I have two 80's, hunters both, on Nesingwary. I also have my highest Alliance toon there too, and she's a hunter. I have a very young orc huntress hanging out there, as well as a very new gobliness and a female worgen huntress. Both of these started last night.
And I am not counting those hunters I have scattered across four or five other servers.
Nope, no one here will call you nutters. You're in fine company.
Awwww! Thanks you guys. I feel a lot better. There's just something about being a hunter that's just so FUN for me. I love collecting pets and they're the only class that I have fun leveling! I also like not being beat on because my pet is taking the beating
I just made an alli hunter on my current server and I'm going to have fun leveling her through some of the new stuff [hurray for BoA things!]. Then I plan on making another horde hunter on another server just to run through the Barrens! I remember hating that place but now it just looks so fun!
Again, thanks guys! I really need to slap myself to remind me that this is just a game and games are meant for fun! If being a hunter is fun then dammit I'm going to make a bunch of them!
