An epic taming story.

Unread post by Ispecbm »

So, as I'm sure most of you are familiar with Jadefang you know that without the daily you have to be creative. I hit level 85 day two of Cata and started doing some Therazane rep dailies. My second day into it I see Jadefang on track beasts. Being that I obsess over rare pets my heart started pounding. I go to where the he is on my mini map to find nothing. I then see that someone in General chat is telling others of his location and the masses start pouring in. Though they have no idea where he is or how to get to him. (much like myself) We all started realizing at about the same time where he was. I dropped my Jeeves, got my old PvP belt with my nitro-boost enchant and pulled a worm to the ready and trapped him. Popped the belt and for the first time ever I was happy to see the backfire so I take a shot at the worm mid air because it took me out of combat for some reason and then Disengaged over to the other cliff. I was quite proud of myself and happy I had an audience to seethe in jealousy as all they could do was watch. A few moments later I had my second Cataclysm rare spawn. I've had absolutely ridiculous luck with rares thus far. Within 15 hours I found Jadefang, Karoma, Sambas, Terrorpene (for the second time) and Ghostcrawler. Unfortunately my luck hit the wall known as Madexx and so now I feel like Uldum will be my new Sholazar Basin. Please shares any of your memorable rare spawn tames.

hahahaha! Grats! That is awesome! I sometimes wish my hunter was an engineer for PVP purposes, but I'm going to stick with skinning and LW for now. Thank you for sharing this!
