What is it? I always thought it looked vaguely like a turtle facing left, and hated it, except now I realize it is clearly not a turtle. So what is it, and what part is where? Help me see it plox >.>

I always saw it as part of a kitty face, like this big jungle cat is peering through a window, so you only see one eye, one ear, and some of the muzzle above the nose. He might be snarling, but we cannot see that.

Yeah, I agree with Rawr (edit: and Sochi). The nose is down in the front (bottom right corner) and in the top left corner is the ear. Definitely feline.

It took me forever to realize it was half of a cat's face. I actually always thought it looked like an Owl, with its beak in the bottom right corner.

There's a lot of WoW icons that I'll just glance at, get a first impression, and that sticks with me until I actually bother to look at them closely. xD

I see a "cat" that is looking at you. With his nose in the bottom right corner.
And ear out in the upper left corner. And his eye are sparkling!

Ahh, I think I see.

It's a bad icon, then--what's up with the pale line down the right, and the yellow streak going up-right, and the deep line between nose & muzzle? Or am I still mis-seeing?



And yeah, there's quite a few icons in-game that for ages I just saw without SEEING--like Shadowstep, for example. And then one day I look closely... "OOOOooooh."

I picked up on the cat for this one right away, but there are DEFINITELY others that had me staring for the longest time without getting them. And probably a few others that I still haven't figured out yet but don't realize it. XD

I figured it out recently, but I'm not gonna lie. For some reason, it looked like a horse to me for the longest time. Like, a profile shot instead of forward facing. With head down and a glowy eye.

Yup. I'm with Ummeiko. I've always thought horse. Excuse my handwriting. If you can't read it, it says, "Eye", "Ear", "Mane", "Body", and "Horse Snout" in each respective place.

I always saw it as a cat, but that is probably because of Loque'nahak.
