Aspect macro?

Unread post by stoneyloon »

I am in the process of trying to switch from being a clicker to using keybinds after 5 years (its hellish at 85 :P ), so naturally macros are begining to dominate the way i play and maximise what i can get out of my hunter.

There is one i just cant figure out, im trying to make one so when i cast Steady Shot it turns on Aspect of the Fox, now the problem is that if i use it twice in a row it turns off Aspect of the Fox.

Is there something i can put in the macro line to stop it from canceling the aspect if its already active?

Thanks in advance

/cast !Aspect of the Fox

The exlamation point makes it so it will never turn the skill off. :) Very handy in a number of macros.

thats the one, had a few ppl tell me that its not doable but thank god they were wrong :D

Thanks very much.

Edit. every time i use that in the macro, it cancels the aspect then re-apply's it so i get the GCD, sound and graphic of the aspect everytime i use it, granted it never turn off :P

The idea was to make 2 macro's, 1 for fox aspect with steady shot and the other with hawk aspect with arcane shot.
What i have.

/cast !Aspect of the Fox
/cast Steady Shot

/cast !Aspect of the Hawk
/cast Arcane Shot

and use these 2 macros to control my aspects
