Best Pet for Me

i am looking for a pet with looks not battle-skills (don't mind if it has both) I have a ghostsaber but I met someone else with one so it wasn't as special.
I have tracked down pets in Horde and Alliance (I am alliance) and can't find anything which makes people go WOW!!
Can anybody help??

Well, if your level 43, or above, I would reccomend king bangalash.I love the skin, and he has good dps to boot! Good luck with finding a new pet

There's the huge Scholazar Wasps, even the glowy fireflies from Zangarmarsh are very unusual. Moths are very rare (I still haven't seen any.) and if you don't want the absolutely best DPS a Warp Stalker might suffice. Dragonhawks, Wind Serpents and Ravagers all have good DPS, and are fairly rare.

Crocolisks are great soloing pets, and rarer than random groups without ninjas.

yeah i am only lvl 20 on a trial for the moment (upgrading soon) thanks for the advice do you know any pets with armor skins apart from boars (too higher lvl for me) and just because I'm lvl 20 doesn't stop me from planning my pets

I'm afraid the boars are the only pets with armor ATM.
Hoping for an armored wasp meself.

Some of the more "common" skins are the rarer ones to see these days. I never, ever see a plain lion from the Barrens. Moths are rare as noted above, along with wind serpents, crocolisks...pretty much everything Saturo said.

There is a wolf with armor in Hellfire Ramparts, but that's about 40 levels into your future.

If you want people to go "Wow" get a SporeBat. I love SporeBats and I get asked all the time what it is and where to find one "Oh that looks awesome, what is it? Where do I find one?". SporeBat is a good AoE'ing pet too since the only other pet with an AoE ability other then SporeBat is the bear (Which is a tanking pet) as far as I'm aware. Its one of my best dps best for 5 mans.

There's not too many of the raptors running around.. decent DPS... or the Ravagers from Azuremist isles.. They were the big thing to have when BC came out.. Now you don't see too many.. Take a tour through Petopia and find a skin your happy with and go for it!!

My blood elf has a dragonhawk. They're rare, and we have on and off moments. Sometimes he seems squishy, other times ridiculously powerful. I call him my less-squishy fire mage. Tallstriders are pretty unique too, as are nether rays, Auberdine/Teldrassil kitties...Birds of prey are pretty unique too.

Carrion birds, Tallstriders and Crocolisks (in a way) all do a skill that affects an AoE/Multiple enemies. But yes I agree as it is now the most unseen pet would be the sporebat. But since thats quite a bit away for the original poster a dragonhawk might be more suitable for rarity and visibility.

Overall as mentioned before I propose browsing the pet database on the main petopia website and finding something suitable to your tastes and difficulty of acquirement.

I only see lowbie hunters with dragonhawks (usually Blood Elf). It's flame breath ability is pretty cool.

I'd also recommend wind serpents. They should be around at your level and are unusual. I've been the only one I've seen with them. Hyena, too, are extremely rare and have some good looks at lower levels. I like that purpley one. If you can run through Wailing Caverns, there's interesting Wind Serpents and Crocolisks. For an armored look, I'd suggest one of the boars in Razorfen Kraul. Just a couple more levels and you've got it!

P.S. Don't give up on your Ghost Saber! It's rare to have a pet that no one ever has. It's still one of the most lovely pets for your level. I spent days on that one. Try it out and see who fits you best, not necessarily having the most rare ever. Remember, when you have a pet, it's more likely you'll notice others with it, and you just might start a trend! Glad you like your hyena. They're unusual, look good and have a good spell. I'd have one myself if my stables weren't full.
