Name that pet, a red-eyed Shale Spider

I'm looking for a name for the red/pink-eyed Shale Spider. I'm looking for an original, unique one-of-a-kind name. A serious name. I want a name that most people do not have. I do like to take from the Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter spells. Examples: "Protego", it's a shield spell. In Latin, it means "To protect". "Patronus", it calls your animal protector to you. In Latin, it means "Protector". And "Recanto", it causes weather effects caused by incantations to cease. In Latin, it means "Recall". Any suggestions? Thank you alot!

I like Protego myself - the idea of stoney defense sounds like a shale spider.
Patronus reminds me of spirit-like beasts myself.
And Recanto reminds me of wind serpents.

Going off of what Azu linked, how about Defodio (Latin for 'to dig' or 'dig out')? The spell is for 'carving or digging up steel or stone'. I associate shale spider with cutting through rock and etching glass, due to the sharp diamond-like edges to the creature and partially due to the sounds they make as well.
