Whoot, good scorpy!

Taking a page out of the book everyone else uses and starting my own Madexx thread.

It has been 5hr 22 min since I tamed, fed, patted, cuddled and then released with a message for his blue sibling, yet another black Madexx.

I have red, green, black and bronze already. Gotten them on my camp for blue which started as soon as I hit 84 on Taey but took a weekish off over chrismas to get Ghostcrawler, Sambas and Karoma. I also took a weekish off after I got my first black, Webber, who I do rather like because it's named after my pet chook Webber (who is named after Mark Webber, the F1 driver). After getting Webber, I did swear not to go back. But I caved after I got Jadefang twice in a row and realised I still really wanted my damn blue scorpian.

So I'm back. Silverdragon has my count of Madexx seen at 11. I got silverdragon mid-Jan when I started leveling my baby hunters up so that I didn't have to add all the npc id's to npc scan. My actual count of Madexx seen (mostly dead) is much higher.

And not one whiff of blue. I've been told by another hunter that he has seen one blue dead. And I know of two horde hunters with blue as pets. In fact, one of them likes to find me and pull his blue out. He waits for me to fly off, log to clear cache before doing it again. Generally a few times in a row until he gets bored enough.

I've given away a few. I've tamed a few just to let them go straight after with a message for the blue. He continues to alude me.

So. I want my damn blue already! /Beg.

WHOOOOOOOO! 14hrs and 45min after black number 5, I have my blue! Finally! I can leave this place.

Thank gawd, because I was really starting to loose the plot.

So, making ones own thread is clearly good luck for everyone except Pent. Or Madexx could have realised I was planning to try and pull an all nighter just in case. He probably thought: "Oh you stupid woman, you know how badly you'll suffer if you do. Better do the right thing and spawn in my blue shell just so you don't give yourself a killer eye strain migrain."

And my darling black, named Webber after my cheeky hen Webber. The colours of the black Madexx remind me so much of her:


Green appeared when I started flying around chanting "any colour except blue" so he rocked up to the party in the other colour I didn't have. Named Sarmad:


And finally. The one I have wanted since I saw it. BLUE! And I have no idea what to call it. I was thinking of Yasi after the monster cyclone I've just been through. But not so sure about that:


Still can't believe that I'm leaving Uldum until the next hunter due for a Madexx gets there.

wow you have all of them? that's crazy. are you on a low server or something? I see people sayin they camp him for days. You are lucky hunter Gratz!

Thanks guys! And yes, blue does look nice with Taey. Just as much as the black does. Guess Yasi is it. It does seem to fit him well. Apparently it means Sandlewood in Fujian.

No, I am not on a low pop server. Blackrock is one of the highest pops and very faction inbalanced. Not sure if I spent more time flying around looking for him or dodging slowfalling mages etc who thought I'd be an easy target.

I started camping before christmas for the blue. With time taken off here and there, probably more missed spawns when I was asleep, at work, taking care of my farm, than what I saw.

I didn't actually want any colour except blue. But one is hardly going to pass up a Madexx that is alive and untagged for you to tame when you know that his uptime is very very short due to people killing. I gave them away when I could, but it wasn't easy and I did have a couple that I tagged and trapped to try and find a home for but which were killed in front of me by both sides. So I have one of each and they will all get their use time.

While doing the morning feed rounds for the horses and poultry, I decided that only three of my four baby hunters can have a Madexx. Thank god I'm going to space leveling them with leveling my 80's and I have a whole xpac to do it. And hopefully by the time they get there, Uldum might be less active with normal players. Probably will still be just as many bots though.

Now, I heard tell it might be the patch tonight? Whoo, my baby troll is going to be making her way to the goat island to get her a blue ravager and a blue moth in one hit. Cause, she's blue and they're blue.
