My last one (hopefully) - silithid help!

Alright, hopefully this is my last one of these. I'm having trouble again, this time, deciding between two silithids. Surge is a yellow silithid I've had for a while. Well, tamed in LK, then released, then picked back up again in Cata. I like his color and I think he has a really cute face. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about the idle animations. They're cute but he's always doing them. His name is Surge.

Then, recently I tamed an ant silithid and immediately liked it. I think it's rather unique and a lot more calm. However, I think its face is a bit ugly and it only comes in one color. He has no swimming animation though, which makes me a bit sad. This is Pym.

I took pics of combat and idle animations for both. Surge decided to dance while in combat, which was a bit odd. I noticed that the ant silithid appears to share a model and/or animations with the beetles.

I really don't know who I like more at this point. I like Surge because I've had him for a while, plus he's pretty and I like his face. Pym isn't as pretty and his face is creepy, but for some strange reason, I like him anyway. I'm trying to only keep one, as I will need stable space in the next patch.

Well, I'm a sucker for the standard silithid model, and I think Surge looks better next to Rhy. They do move around A LOT when they're "idle," but I think they make up for it with charm.

I vote Surge.

I agree. the tan one kind of looks like a spider..the yellow one has more of a unique look to him.

My personal vote goes to Surge as well. He just seems to have more personality overall. I'll admit I'm not fond of the ant silithid models, so there is that bias, but Surge just seems....more suited somehow regardless.

My vote is for Pym. In that screenshot he's all "please love me"

I find both models repulsive, but at least Surge has a slightly more bearable face. The colour also looks better next to you, whereas Pym is just...blaaah. I know you like brown, but there's something about that brown that just turns me off it.

So, Surge gets my vote!

Also voting Surge. More vibrant and noticable. Against Uldum, Pym kind of faded, for example.

I had to make a very similar choice recently (between my ant and my blue or pink tank) and I let the ant go. I didn't want to, but I had to make room for my wind serpents (all 11 of them :3) and for whatever reason I couldn't abandon Deva like I had planned. So..keep the yellow one :3 You seem to like it better anyhow.

I voted for the dancing silithid because I personally love it, then realized that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to vote based on my bias. Too late, I guess.

That is exactly what he's named after! ^_^ It was my favorite drink back in the day.

Once again, I think you all are right. I do like Pym, but have always had a fondness for the yellow silithid. I imagine that had I let him go, I'd have come to regret it.

I'm still attached to my ant - mainly due to pre-taming it after finding out it would change from a scorpid to a (previously) untameable new model!

It's still not something you see everywhere - personally I've only seen myself with it!
