That shale spiders sound so CUTE!?

I never really cared for them, at least didn't think I would, but with their buff figured they were good to have. I don't usually see the yellow one, so I went after that.

The dang things sound so cute! I immediatly fell in love with it.

Anyone else have a moment like that?

Haven't had a shale spider myself yet, since neither BM hunter is in their 80s. But, I think they got their "Squee Spider" nickname for a reason! I'm looking forward to experiencing it myself.

i didnt click with shale spiders, while there decent looking, i was not to impressed with them along with the fact that the constant squee!! was annoying! lol.
but everyone is different!

Also everyone in my party loves him for his buff so he's definitely worth having. Some even have preferred him over a spirit beast or a cat.

Somehow their squee manages to sound like a cute version of nails on a chalkboard. You'd think it'd be annoying as heck, but it's not. Of course, I'm rarely close to Bituninous (Bitsy for short), when she's in combat.

I was the same way. At first, the screenshots didn't really impress me. But I was like hey, kings buff. And omg. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEYEEEEEEEEEEAH. *puts sunglasses on jadefang* I need more room for a yellow and pink squee.

The "scree!" was what made them click for me too. I tamed a yellow one but then caught the taming bug and tracked down Jadefang (my Viridion).

My moment was my first Warp Stalker tame. I went for a red one to match my color theme and..Ares has really grown on me. He has a quirky knack for placing himself on top of mailboxes in the city and on top of braziers (apparently he has an affinity for fire). His odd antics never cease to amuse me. By and far he has become my favorite pet and the one I always bring out while walking around the city.
