Can confirm this post. :P

Looking at them right now, the two on my screen are 84 and 83 respectively. They do use the dark brown/gold Madexx skin. They're aggressive and do a little poison spit thing, pretty basic.

Dunno about the snake location but I'm sitting at the Gate of Unending Cycles, where the Chemical Company mobs are for the 85 Valentines daily.

Yes they are all over the place to the west of the Temple of Uldum in the Northwest corner of map just below where the river stops, again right next to the Temple.

Everyone who went through the trouble to find Madexx has gotta know the brown is now a non-rare! I just feel sorry for the ppl who only managed to find the brown one so far 0_o

Also, if scorpids get such a cool model, why do they only have disarm?

I think you're not realizing how useful disarm can be in a PvP situation. Not only does a scorpid eat melee and ranged weapons like a pro, he can take hits pretty well. They're harder to kill than birds are, at any rate, and if you're non-BM the lack of damage on his part is negated by your dps.

Personally I think every family need more awesome models, though. :P

What Veeka said. Plus, they're not even all that bad as tanks (obviously not as good as a beetle or turtle), and I find that I often whip out one of my two scorpids when I'm soloing. :D
