Spirit Beast Help

Hi

I am new to the petopia forums since just a few days ago. I must say they have been very helpful thus far so thanks:)

I just finished taming Arcturis and now I have been bitten by the spirit bug, lol. That being said I now am wondering what Northrend specific spirit beast share timers and how many can be 'spawned' at a time. I have been looking in forums for the answer but haven't come across it yet. Any help would be appreiciated, thanks.

None of them share timers with anything.

They don't share timers, however, there is something that can help you.

They all (for me, and others confirmed) spawn on the hour or half hour mark, 5 mins prior or after. Meaning, he will spawn at 5:00 or 5:30 more or less, and not 5:17 (just example timers)

This has worked for me for getting all my spirit beasts, as it saves alot of time. I just parked my hunter at the spawn point and just check on the hour/half hour mark, while I do something else. It really is more efficient and saves up time spent camping.

One thing I´ve noticed when I´ve tamed my spirit beasts/rare pets, is that many of them spawns quite early in the morning (around 3am-5am). Probably because there are less people online who won´t kill/tame them before you spot them.
But as Samarachan pointed out, quite many of the spirit beasts spawns around the hour/half hour with 5 min prio/after, so checking every hour/half hour is a realy good idea.

I found my Arcturis early in the morning (around 4am), but my others have all appeared at more reasonable hours. In the afternoon for Loque and Skoll, about 10-11pm for Gondria.

Honestly, I think it's completely random as to what time of day they appear, but depending on your server, you might have a better chance when there are less people online.

Aye, it depends. Anyone who finds a rare during the day, good for you and congratulations, you got really lucky. The factors are a little bit more forgiving at night because there are less people around who could possibly get to the Beast first, kill it or tame it. 95% of the rares I've spotted in the last 4 months, have been between 2-5 am, rest 5% during the day.
Also, I remember someone saying before, aiming your camping days during a major event like, sports or holidays, might help. Boxing day was a good day for me for example, Sambas joined me that night and Karoma later in the morning.
