And to the non-raiders wondering about how the dps gets so high, a large part is the buffs. In an ideal 25-man setup, raid buffs can account for 40% of your damage.

You can always just do a name change if that's the case, maybe a realm change if you are so inclined. You don't nessecarily have to do a race change. This is what I would do... Check WoW-jitsu or similar websites for servers with a even faction balance or one that favors your faction. Roll a noob on that server, and get yourself to a capital city, and see what the trade chat is like, and check for how often you have WG, and things like that, ALSO...

I'd have to say, you are going through the right process, trying what you like, and see what really fits. The ultimate tenacity pets are crocs or bears, but, what I've found looking at them recently is that nothing there stands out. Kind of a shame. If I were leveling, I'd probably go with a boar.

Yep, this is not something you give up on. And getting a pocket-priest for fear ward will certainly help.
