Re: Pet Usage Flowchart and Ability Spreadsheet
On your chart, Reduced Armor section should include Expose Armor , a Rogue ability that Assassination especially can keep up pretty much without trouble. The other two specs can give the same debuff, if for a little bigger DPS hit. EDIT: Now all Druids give the -12% armor from three stacks of Faerie...

Re: Possible New Turtle
Because our current turtle pets don't walk unusually fast or anything.
REally though, the land-issues isn't really one. They could slide around fairly easily. Just keep a DK around for Path of Frost and have it slide around! Slip-n-slide-extreme!

Re: Pet Usage Flowchart and Ability Spreadsheet
Glad to see a sticky come out of that thread.
I find it interesting that Chimera/Worm got damaging abilities as their exotic. I'd imagine that the bonus to damage against single targets would be really low, otherwise they'd be at a rather large advantage.

True! They'd be a good match.Malazee wrote:Chimaeras are casters, aren't they?PonTelon wrote:Maybe Mana Pool/regen for "caster" pets(but we don't have any exotic ones that need abilities still).

Re: Pet Roster and Flow Chart for Cata
I usually try for obscure references on all of my pets, be them inside jokes or really obscure-had-to-use-google-to-find-it names. I also love puns. My wasp is named Aristophanes, because he wrote a play called "Wasp" and was a strange and off-putting Greek satirist. Thunder(the Wonder) wa...

Thank you Malazee! That is amazing! I particularly like the Star for the last one. XD
My life needs more flow-charts like that.

Re: Pet Roster and Flow Chart for Cata
On a similar threat-related note, I wonder how the spirit beast's heal works re: threat? Might be handy to have it cast on itself, but probably only of minor usefulness for all that. I'd wait on Spirit Beasts and Worms specifically, since we know all Exotic pets get both a Special ability and an Ex...

Re: Pet Roster and Flow Chart for Cata
Essentially, for non-BM hunters, there are only 7 different de/buffs you can provide(not counting utilities like stun/root/slow). I don't think +Bleed is as important as the other five personally. Specs high in bleed effects(Subt rogue, Feral Druid, Arms warrior) already give that benefit, often aut...

Re: Woot I Got My Main I will now see who is tamable next pa
Just wanted to pop in to add that yea, it appears that none of the mobs have changed. Also: My pet Slick (Oil-covered Worg) did not get a bath. He's the only "bugged" pet I have to test though. Worms appear not to have their Exotic ability. I don't know if this means they'll eventually los...

Pet Roster and Flow Chart for Cata
Just wanted to share some of the "homework" I've done in prep for Cata. Using MMO-Champ's list, and Scatter Shot's list I have not only created my working pet list(4 active pets, plus 5th for later), but also a flow chart for which pet to use. It should be noted that I primarily work in 5-...
