Re: Meeting a fury girl...
I think conventional wisdom is to keep them physically separate (maybe use a baby gate to keep the dogs in another room from the cat) but to let them see and smell each other so they get used to the other animal's presence without being able to physically interact. Another thing you can do is "...

Re: [Blizzcon] Possible new hunter pets
I don't like the dragonfly concept art (save for the fact it has 4 wings it does NOT look like a dragonfly to me at all), but the idea of a dragonfly mount/pet is cool. Would prefer it to look a little more realistically like a dragonfly, and I hope they don't give it the wasp flying animation - it ...

Re: What Pets should Blizz make tamable?
I will be very surprised if we don't see Hydras make a comeback at some point in future. I'm less sure that I'll ever get a stag... but I still have hope! I don't really understand why blizzard don't just make all beasts tameable? Except the unique / boss models ofc. It might be a bit of extra work ...

Re: Naming My 3 New Pets? Help!
I called my raven "Quoth" (in reference to the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe). You could also call it "Nevermore" (from the same poem). I haven't named my own raptor yet, as I haven't had any good ideas for it... so I can't really suggest anything :/ The turtle's ...

Re: What Pets should Blizz make tamable?
I would really like pterrorwings to be tameable. If we can tame the devilsaurs and the direhorns then why not the flying dinos too? It wasn't up there but since vanilla I've wanted to tame a stag. Particularly the shadowhorn stags in Ashenvale. They could have a generic family ability for all I care...

Re: A call for more dogs
I really hate the mastiff model... its so ugly and I HATE the fact it has cropped ears (which is illegal where I live). Would really like a different dog model other than these and the demon dogs (which I do like, but they don't really look like beasts :P). I would love to see a Collie type dog (par...

Re: Tracking and flaring hidden pets - the verdict?
I loved the idea but the implementation left a bit to be desired: 1) It was too easy to camp a point along the path and not actually have to do any tracking at all. If the path wasn't fixed and was random - with the rare being able to change direction randomly and wander all over the zone rather tha...

Re: Corehound issue
I have a Chromaggus and have never seen him self-cast AH either. I have had other pets however that have cast their specials on entering combat without autocast being on - can't recall specific examples at the moment but I'm certain I've seen it and thought "how the hell did that happen?" ...

Re: eyes of the animal
I also really miss it and have no idea why it was removed, it hardly made a difference to other classes so why couldn't we keep it? The first thing I'd do after taming a new pet was to cast Eyes of the Beast and run a victory lap around my hunter, I miss this and the connection with the pet that Eye...

Re: No love for Solix?
Solix is my favourite of the molten front spiders. He's the only one I kept :) He and deth'tilac are the most fun to tame. I think Solix also has the best colouring for a molten spider - he really looks like he's made of lava. I've also noticed that the red, yellow and green spiders are seen around ...

Re: Posable new monkey skin
i would still like to express that these stand and walk on two legs and not on all 4's (or on legs because their arms are actually wings, thus making walking on all 4's impossible) is a very strong reason and guideline blizz follows in deeming what is viable for beast and viable for humanoid. I don...

Re: Posable new monkey skin
I don't believe for a second that these monkeys will be tameable, but I would like to see tameable pandas - not like the ones that will be playable but actual pandas (i.e a recolour of the in game bear model would suffice).

Re: Angered Arakkoa Protector.
The aura can still be trick tamed. It's only partly true that it loses its aura after death: The lower part of the aura (the blue smokey stuff under the bird's body) dissapears after death (have tried this twice now and both times it was definately gone after the bird died and was ressed). The upper...

Re: Posable new monkey skin
body structure is built to walk/run on 2 legs which im pretty sure defines what blizz considers humanoid and beast Well actually no, because Tallstriders and raptors walk/run on 2 legs and no one can deny that they are beasts. Being bipedal (2 legged) alone is not enough to be classified as humanoi...

Re: So if pandaren make an appearance in the game....
Has no one suggested the obvious yet? Not sure if blizz has already decided to do this but: Panda combat pets please! Could even just reskin an existing bear model to be panda coloured. And I don't think it would be weird for a pandaren to have a panda pet, afterall, we have worgens with wolves don'...

Re: Yay, Deathmaw!
He sure does have other spawn locations than those shown on WoWhead and Thottbot. I wasted an hour or two checking there (Damn you thottbot... DAMN YOU!) before I remembered that he had multiple spawn locations before cata (when he was still a black worg). I then flew around Dreadmaul rock and found...
