Re: So, who all is getting/has gotten the year commitment?
I've signed up. For me, it was absolutely a no-brainer. I intend to keep playing WoW for the foreseeable future, so as far as I'm concerned it's essentially "o hai, here, have some free stuff as long as you promise to keep doing something you would've kept doing anyway". Looking forward to...

Staff of Draconic Combat (gold) / Blood Boil Lancet (gold) / Greatstaff of the Nexus (blue)?dragonaa wrote:her theme is dragon gear ive looked for a temp staff
Of the three, the Blood Boil Lancet is probably easiest to get solo (as I've no idea how easily one might solo H-Oculus, nevermind Malygos10).

Re: Void Storage
Don't forget, Mania, that you can't store 'silly items' and white items. Since when? I know you can't use them as a transmogrification source, but not that you can't stick them into void storage. I'd go check myself but the character copy for EU is yea verily buggered -- so I couldn't copy over my ...

Surprise spirit cat
Well, this was unexpected. I should be asleep -- it's almost 6am here -- but despite the fact that I'm bone tired I couldn't fall asleep. So I got up, figuring I'd putter around in WoW for a bit then go back to bed. I decided to log in my main, a feral tank druid, and sort her situational trinkets, ...

Try the Talhide set.
If you weren't a hunter I'd also suggest looking for Excavator's Brand as a mainhand, but alas.

The Talhide random green set is all mail and looks like leather. Doesn't have fingerless gloves but still.

Re: Help building an Arabian set
You'd have to do some arenas for it, but - Ruthless Gladiator's Cord of Accuracy . Green gem rather than light blue but it should do the trick - check the modelviewer . Going to go hunt for pants now. [EDIT] Let's see. There's pants with the "frayed underwear" model - Ancestral Woollies , ...

Re: Most horrible instance per expansion. (MMO Copycat)
Oh, I agree that doing it out in the open is better - if the people in the group have a clue. That's my point. Most HoR PuGs I got thrown into were all "hurr durr wuts cc?" or "herp derp wuts interupt?" - even if I told them exactly what spell to use and on which target, the vast...

Re: Most horrible instance per expansion. (MMO Copycat)
Trap/Shackle/Pally the hunter. Silence the mage to bring her to the tank. This was what my guild figured out to do our very first time in there - not rocket surgery. Yeah, that works for a guild group, but when you have a random PuG where people can't be bothered CCing and can't be bothered interru...

Wait, wait, how? Just kiting him around like a normal Whale Shark? What spec did you use and how long did that take?
So tempted to go and park my hunter on his spawn point and give it a go next time he's up...

Vanilla: tie between Gnomeregan, Wailing Caverns, Maraudon and the old version of Sunken Temple (not the neutered version they put in with Cataclysm, that one is nice and quick). I keep getting lost in BRD, too, but I can't help it - I love that one. BC: Old Hillsbrad. Lovely from a lore perspective...

Re: The devaluation of rare spawns by shared models
Personally, I don't care whether a pet I tamed is a rare or common skin, or is a rare spawn with a unique or a share model. I tame pets because they fit with the character I'm taming them on and that's it. Sometimes a unique-skinned rare clicks, sometimes a non-unique-skinned rare clicks, sometimes ...

Stable ideas for a Night Elf hunter
So I'm considering making yet another hunter. (Sanity? What's that?) This one would be a Night Elf, taming only pets that would make sense from a lore perspective. She wouldn't really be played in instances, so if I end up missing a buff or two because the pet that provides it would make no sense fo...

I've tamed Karkin on a hunter who's done enough quests to unlock the Front then nothing else, so I'm pretty sure he and Skarr are not affected by phasing.

I GOT KIRIX I GOT KIRIX I GOT KIRIX *bounces* I was camping him literally from 10am my time, when the servers went back up, to 10:14pm, when he spawned and I tamed him. Did not budge. And thank god for the fact that I have two accounts and my main is on a separate account from my hunters, because ot...

Dear Kirix,
please show up. I'll give you a good home, lots of (careful) cuddles, and lots of people to munch on. Spawn? Pretty please? Sugar on top?

I sure hope he will! I've tamed everything else bar Ankha across two hunters, some twice. (Deth'tilac because nobody wanted the second, Ban'thalos because again, nobody wanted the second one, Skitterflame because I saw him up today and despite my attempts to find a hunter who wanted him nobody wante...

Nooooo I just missed Kirix... my own dumb fault... I was running my two accounts simultaneously, one on my computer one on my SO's... and I evidently had Kirix cached on my computer so NPCscan didn't ring when he spawned. I saw the alert on the other computer and relogged and ran there - saw two hun...

I'm pretty sure they fixed the grey camel thing and it's no longer rollable by anybody except the person who actually found the statuette. Similarly, Aeonaxx is no longer rollable by people who weren't actually riding him, whether or not they did damage to him - and GMs will refuse to fix it because...

Re: Getting a pet restored
I don't think it matters. I had a pet restored when I was <82 (and as such only had Call Pet 4); I made it a point of telling the GM in the ticket that I had an empty stable slot, but the pet still got restored to my nonexistent 5th active slot rather than my stables. You may get asked to log a diff...
