Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
People were looking forward to the pink one more than any, I don't think they should be untameable. As long as it's not in the form of some elite shit like that fire owl. Or some rare that a lot of people are going to grief each other over. I agree. I think that it was just reshuffled onto some mob...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
You're probably right, I just found it strange that he was standing so apart, not with the other friendly ones, he's right next to neutral runners ^^ https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1217792524916232233/1439639668248547500/WoWScrnShot_111625_084214.jpg?ex=691b406c&is=6919eeec&hm=51f...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
What bothered me a lot in beta is that there was a few beast looks created to be untameable and it made me drag my hands along my eyes. Of course they created pink dreamrunners and only put them on untameable npcs, and what’s worse is if you go to voidstorm, it’s filled with a variety of beasts tha...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
IMO, if there are special tames, it should be for unique looks, like they did with the Tiger Loa model or the Drust Animals. Taking a normal look and just making it unique to one special tame, imo, isn’t worth it. For Dragonhawks, as an example, it would be like removing the green look and putting i...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Here is what I think might’ve happened to the Pink Springrunner: recently, Blizz reshuffled the looks on the mobs in Eversong, namely Hawkstriders, Toads, and Springrunners, so that now they all only have a couple of looks per mob rather than a ton. It is entirely possible that the Pink Springrunner...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Yeah, I don’t think that is what Glorious Spring is meant for. They probably just picked pink for no particular reason. It wouldn’t make sense if we could go in and go against the whole purpose of the sanctuary.

Yes, there are a few dragonhawks that are only found in Zul’Aman.WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 15, 2025 9:22 pm If you mean this look, I believe this one's only in Zul'Aman. At least, I didn't see this skin in Eversong Woods. Saw most other colors besides this and green though.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
I’ve seen the Harried Hawkstrider several times. That said, it isn’t unique. There are a few other hawkstriders that can spawn in white. All Amazard colors are accounted for. They are found throughout the zone, namely the coasts. All Potatoads are account for, also. I saw the ones that you were look...

It is entirely possible that they are in but require something to trigger them (clicking on something, killing specific mobs, etc).

I’ll take a look later. Wowhead recently updated their database and one still shows as having the pink variant.

It should be closer to the southern entrance to Zul’Aman, east of the Sanctum of the Sun.WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 14, 2025 2:19 pm Where is the second variant? I'm between the Sanctum of the Moon and Sanctum of the Sun, so that's one spot.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Ah, good to know about the ray. I haven't seen any, though I'm only now tackling Zul'Aman and haven't done Eversong (was too laggy before) or Voidstorm (haven't unlocked yet). Hooray for more skins being obtainable. Regarding Skittish Springrunner, I'm standing at them right now and spamming F6. I ...

The Skittish Springrunner should also come in pink, unless that has been changed.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Have we recorded this fella? Vicious Ray, has the unused teal and yellow look. As for the pink unicorns, I've not seen any in the wild except the friendly ones. I think pink might've gotten friendzoned. Yes, he is recorded. There are several rays that use it that variant in all zones except Harandar.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
Has anyone on beta found any tameable pink dreamrunners, the only ones I see are friendly and the other neutral ones don’t use that variant As far as I know, there are tamable pink ones unless something has changed. Yeah, there should be at least two NPCs that use the pink variant that should be ta...

Re: Beta gameplay-Haronir?
Are the Haronir in the Beta yet? I've tried copying a character over to mess around with-that failed. I made a character but the Haronir and other allied races were not there-is it just that I did not unlock them yet or...? Haranir are available currently, just the whole thing with character creati...

Re: Do we *need* Florafaun Item *AND* Dinomancy Tome to tame the flaura direhorn?
Yes, both are needed. Though the Florafaun item is account-wide, so you don't need to worry about getting it on every hunter alt. Besides that, both are very easy to get. The Florafaun item has either a very high or guaranteed drop from rares in Harandar, and the Direhorn tome is very and quick to g...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
I think that is just a poor choice of name. Them being called a podling would suggest that they are a baby of some other creature. Besides that, there is a World Quest that directly says that they are baby Potatoads and you have to rescue them and bring them back to their parents, which are Potatoads.

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread
At least as far as I've seen, there is only one other place where you can see one as a wild model and it is a friendly creature. I mentioned in another thread that in a questline where you interact with that friendly one, Orweyna explains that there are very few of the "mountain beasts" le...
