I'm not sure. Unless some new zones are introduced that would fit the theme, we know that we'll be going back to Northrend in Last Titan. The closest to savage or caveman-esque would be Sholazar Basin.

According to Wowhead, he isn't currently in game. That could change, of course, but as of right now there isn't an NPC in the Forever database named Lightning Paw.

Not too much so far in 12.1.7, but at least one new model that (hopefully) will have a non-saddled version at some point, if not now

Yes, it is from a Blue Post, so it is official. Something interesting to note is that Core Hounds aren't listed as one of the pet families in Forever.

It looks like there is one new vulture model. It isn't tamable (friendly and not flagged as tamable), but https://www.wowhead.com/forever/npc=267113/marrosis uses different combinations of Vulture colors to make a new model.

I apologize if this isn't the right thread to post in, but all of the new rare pets has me wondering about an old one: Olm the Wise. Back in Vanilla, he was a solid white owl before getting changed to a blue spectral owl skin in I think it was Cata? Makes me wonder which he'll be given in Forever ...

There is a fairly reasonable chance that the one Slyvern that is classified as a Wolf will be changed to a Fox at some point. Since slvyerns are flying foxes, it being a wolf is likely unintended.

There are means of transportation for non-Skyborne to get to the new starting zone. For example, Horde can go to Skywatcher Plateau in Mulgore and take a zeppelin from Mulgore to Zephras ...

Just so everyone is aware, at least with Takk the Leaper and Humar the Pridelord, Blizz has added new set gear pieces to them, which will incentivize them being camped by other classes to kill them for loot, which will make them being tamed by Hunters harder.

Also, it may go without saying, but just in case anyone is not aware, progress from Beta will not carry over once the Beta is over. Everything will be deleted and characters will have to start fresh.

Sadly, the ghostly saddled raptor has been made untamable, likely due to taming it breaking Delve progression.

They might be used in a higher level area. Beta only goes to 20 (later to 30), so they could be used somewhere inaccessible for now.
