Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Can’t wait to play midnight next week, yes I bought the epic edition, I’m going to take advantage to level up and then take tame whatever pets we can, especially rares. I’ll also finally get to pay more attention to the quests and storyline

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

The NPCs that have the pink Dreamrunner skins are called Skittish springrunner, they are located in the “ghostlands” area in the scar. It has five looks and pink is one of them

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

That actually does make a lot of sense. Haranir and Grimlynxes don’t look like they are directly from harandar. Think about it. Haranir and Grimlynxes and their Druid forms are actual flesh animals as opposed to the creatures of harandar which are plants and fungi. I’ve seen a few actual critters he...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Yeah Hunter pet developers haven’t been working on old Hunter pets becoming tameable and some more fleshed out Hunter pet additions, I still remember all the love hunters got during late bfa and early shadowlands when they gave us more old looks and made older beasts tameable, once Dragonflight came...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

When I found out grimlynxes ended up in whiptails I was a bit disappointed since that is the coolest new cat model, the shadow jump visual does look very cool and it’s an amazing gap closer, now it’s the first family that has two gap closers in retail wow, in a arena and battleground match BM hunter...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

That’s just stupid. I know they will add in a better source for these worms soon. Anyway on another note. I noticed that pangolins have different running animations than thornmaws and haranir bear forms. When pangolins run their arms are splayed out and their head barely bobs or waddles. The thornma...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Not to be that guy. But isn’t rest just a cosmetic trick ability that only gives it flavor? I 1000% agree that clefthooves are lackluster in appearances compared to other families, they look like a family that shouldn’t be exotic. Honestly every pet family should have a cosmetic non combat ability

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

My boss hydra collection is officially complete, I only have boss hydras no regular ones, not joking

Edit - Magmorax is extraordinarily loud, his stomps are crazy but I know they’ll be reduced, he also growls which gives a nice touch

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Legion Remix has ended for US servers today, and tomorrow will be the launch of the pre-patch for US realms. Friendly reminder that, at least according to Wowhead, we will very likely be able to tame Magmorax and Tor'go starting tomorrow. I don't know how Blizzard will handle it, but I've already g...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

I think the tallstrider is possibly the first model that received two animation updates. I remember right when I started playing the game in early cata, the tallstrider still used their old running animation where the head stayed up and the legs did all the work. Good thing mechanostriders are the c...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Bottom one uses a more holy look to it, I like it. Btw I’m super late to notify here, but normal tallstrider animations have been changed. The first ever creature in wow to ever receive two animation updates. Hawkstriders still use their fast animation and hornstriders are still slow mo Oh wow! On ...

Re: End of 2025: What Pets Did You Tame?

So far world of Warcraft has been kind of solid with 2025 with new systems and the long awaited addition to switch pet specs. To be honest most of the war within pets were hardly useable anywhere in max level content. Before tww was released I was excited to have the spiders and swarmers only not to...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

Out of every zone I visited and tested on beta, harandar is by far the coolest. it also has the coolest hunter pets, and largest on top of that. And it’s the only zone that doesn’t really involve the void-saga theme, but I enjoy the lightbloom in both eversong and harandar, but harandar’s looks like...

Re: Midnight Alpha/Beta Thread

The Devilsaptor that was misclassified as a Raptor is now correctly classified as a Devilsaur. The Snapping Scourge is now tamable and retains its name. Lightwood Borer is now tamable and retains its name. The Pink Springrunner is back https://i.imgur.com/cXECy6A.jpeg This just made my night. It wi...

Re: Patch 11.2.7

I got myself a crimson windsteed, but I’ll replace it with a white one in a heartbeat if it would exist in game. It’s exciting to have the colorful cloud serpents in game, I’m loyal to my ivory boi, but I’m happy for others to tame them, the wait for a windsteed is finally over. Stag family now has ...

Re: Patch 11.2.7

Throwing this question out thee since nobody seems to have considered it; do you gain access to the Wandering Isle on both factions upon completing the Pandaren heritage questline, or is it per faction? Asking because I can't test it for reasons I am not privy to admitting, and so that if someone e...
