The horses look very similar to the originals (the texture files are identical), but the skeleton changes their stance quite a lot and they have some nice new animations :)

FYI, I've got a Midnight Epic Edition key giveaway on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/wowpetopia.bsk ... mqb3eqr22s

I was able to find the Spawn of Ix. Unfortunately, even though it is flagged as tamable, it cannot be tamed due to his being a controlled mob (even though tons of them spawn at once).

Don't you just hate when something is already controlled? At least let me kill the controller to remove said control! lol

The taming pass is real. As much flak as I'm gonna get for my take, I'm a little bummed that the pink unicorn wasn't left as a friendly thing in that sanctuary. Makes them feel less special now. Oh a better note, hell yeah mire lurkers!

This just made my night. It will pair well with my somber dawn as an opposite. As for the misclassified devilsaptor, it was fun while it lasted, I did use it a ton of the time I played beta so it was amazing to fight alongside a t-Rex

Oof, they fixed all the wrong things. Granted, it was obvious the wrong families would get fixed, especially the devilsaptor since that was the only light version, but man, that hurts. I had fun with all of them.

I miss my raptor sporebat...

Matching mire stalkers with sporegliders.

Each has a set of four colours that match almost exactly, so they make great pet pairs!

Not depicted: the olive green pair, because the mire stalkers of this colour can't be tamed in Midnight (they're flagged tameable but 92 elites).

The Green one is tamable. They used to be lvl 92, but have been lowered to 90 and, as such, are tamable

My only gripe with the Mire Stalkers is that their... eyes? Those lights above their arms; those need to jiggle more. If they jiggled when the stalker walks around, that would instantly make these things 100% more awesome. Regardless of their lack of jiggling "eyes", it's good to see that they were made tameable and that all colors are available. Harandar just has so many great models.

Out of every zone I visited and tested on beta, harandar is by far the coolest. it also has the coolest hunter pets, and largest on top of that. And it’s the only zone that doesn’t really involve the void-saga theme, but I enjoy the lightbloom in both eversong and harandar, but harandar’s looks like a cool bamboo forest. Also the old mandragoras bug me a lot, their mouth is making me either want to tame a lightbloom version or skip it until it’s fixed

Oops! My bad. I was there on a mid-80s toon and their level appeared as a skull. I checked the existing data and assumed 92 was still correct.

I'm really glad they'll be tameable!

I added some more colours of spiny bats to the database. These will probably end up purely for haranir flight forms but since I started documenting this model I've continued to.

The new colours are tan, purple, teal/red, and another black (less blue):

Nice Wain! Maybe we'll one day get them, though I doubt that it'll be in Harandar.

I hope we get to see their original homeland some point during the saga or after, Pangquills, Wolverines, and whatever the bats are called are right in my alley

Absolutely! I hope we do get to see where they came from. Maybe when we do they can produce wild versions of these models without the spines, since I assume those are the haranir 'touch' to their travel forms, like troll tusks and night elf ears.
