Re: Crappy Groups

Personally, I'd report the lock for griefing. What he did - repeatedly wiping the group deliberately - is nothing less, and I'd not be surprised if a ticket would get him a temp ban. It would definitely move him up the pyramid . I'm sorry to hear about your guildie. I hope she gets her courage back...

Re: bot or not?

I've reported people I see doing strange things, good to know I don't need to have any "proof" that they're doing something not quite legit. I mine mostly in Wintergrasp, and I saw a paladin on top of a rich saronite node, just standing there. I didn't want to mine out from under him, so I...

Re: Crappy Groups

And I'm back. This time with a crappy group story from my druid, who I'm leveling to be a tank (and dps when my guildie wants to tank on her warrior). I started a druid fairly recently, and got it to level 40 through tanking in random dungeons. For the most part all was going well, and I'm actually ...

Re: Crappy Groups

I decided to try my first foray into HEROIC Pit of Saron. I've done it once on regular and felt I understood the mechanics decently enough, and I know I can do enough damage to contribute in HFoS, so I figured I was ready. Not only did the first try not go well, it went amazingly badly. HPoS is one...

Re: Crappy Groups

It's been too long since I've ranted about a terrible group, so I've two to talk about. For both of these I was playing my holy priest. I dinged 80 a couple of days ago, and have been doing heroics to farm triumphs in order to upgrade my gear. I've got a few purple pieces and had the 245 body crafte...

Re: Karma needs YOU for help with healing :)

I tend to click more than keybind, but since I started this baby priest I've been forcing myself to play almost exclusively with keybinds. My only exceptions are the attacking skills like smite since I won't be using it much when healing, but every time I pop a heal or a shield on myself I make mys...

Re: Karma needs YOU for help with healing :)

I could probably talk forever on healing. I've got a priest, who's now level 77. Leveled entirely from level 15 through dungeons as holy spec. I love love love it. A lot of good advice has already been given, but I'll add a couple of things. If you're going holy spec, it's worth your while to put yo...

Re: Crappy Groups

I don't know why you think it might have been a healing problem if you ran it twice after without problem. ;P The reason I was thinking it might be me is because it only seems to happen on DK tanks. I'm usually perfectly fine with warriors, paladins, and druids, but I think I'm just not geared enou...

Re: Crappy Groups

I know Velkyn, it really makes no sense. I posted about this elsewhere, but I had a feral tank that zoned into Gundrak in a level 40 robe once. Ran ahead and pulled the first couple of trash groups, brought them back and hurricaned them in caster form, then laid on the floor, complaining that he go...

Re: Crappy Groups

Grats on getting most of the awful BC ones. >_< Pretty bad luck there. I don't think there was much you could do differently, without knowing more specifics. I'm shocked, though - I never got any of those while leveling. It was always Sethekk/crypts spam as randoms, then directly to UK. I did all t...

Re: Crappy Groups

I'm fresh out of a weekend of crappy groups on my healer, who is now level 70 (yay!). There were so many bad groups that I can't remember them all, but here are a few of the fun ones: Steamvault. My guildie (dps) and I zone in and find the DK tank decked out in level 70 purples. As I'm getting ready...

Re: i have given up on krush. not worth breaking my pc over

IMO gear does help, haste trinkets, food and pots help but most of it is sheeeeer luck. Quite incorrect. You CAN get enough haste solely with consumables to tame him. Any gear that has haste on it (regardless of iLevel) is gravy. Luck has very little to do with it. If you prepare yourself with the ...

Re: i have given up on krush. not worth breaking my pc over

Gear has nothing to do with it. I have "Crap" gear, i'm not elitist and throwing my weight around saying you suck, why can't I tame because I have awesome gear and you don't. In the world of taming, its not what you have but what you do with it. Luck and skill is more or less how certain ...

Re: i have given up on krush. not worth breaking my pc over

Never been interested in Krush, but I'd assume it's similiar in difficulty to The Beast, possibly easier. I used a full set of crafted caster cloth gear (100% armor reduction so material doesn't matter) the Duskweave set, with potions, food, 2 x nighttime axes, 1 haste trink and 1 brewfest mug trin...

Re: Crappy Groups

I had to resurrect this thread due to the HORRENDOUS groups I've had last night and today (do all the morons come out on the weekend or something?) The worst I had was in Dire Maul. Joined the group as my healer priest, buffed everyone up, and we pulled the first pack. A couple of runners get loose ...

Re: Crappy Groups

I had an interesting group yesterday on my baby healer. And another one on my even younger baby healer (started it to do a couple dungeons with a guildie). First, baby healer group. We enter scarlet monastery, and I notice that the tank has 800hp. I puzzle over that for a minute until I notice the d...

Re: Crappy Groups

Before I get into story mode, I'll provide a little context. I'm too chicken to do dungeons on my hunter, as it never occurred to me to do them while I was leveling and I don't want to jump into them at level 80 since I have had zero experience and people tend to be rather mean in this game. I start...

Re: A night of envy and excitement!

I can't really say how difficult ghost wolf or Gezz are, having not had the opportunity to try. I can say that at least half the battle with King Krush is just finding him. There were periods of a week or two where I was in the basin every evening for 6+ hours, and never saw him once. There were als...

Re: After 8 weeks...

I don't think there's a specific time frame that they're all going to spawn for sure. I haven't seen any consistency for when any of them spawn beyond it usually being between 6 - 10 hours after I saw the last one. I also haven't seen any evidence to prove that the spawns are linked, as I've seen Ao...

Re: Aotona

I actually seem to see Aotona more than the others, which says a lot considering I rarely go over her spawn points. There was one point that I saw her twice in one day (I also saw Loque'nahak twice that day too, but I was looking for Krush - he never did make an appearance). Whenever I see her I sen...
