They do that for me as well. It's because your pet is technically unlearning one spec's abilities and learning the other's. There's no "memory" between the two. But sometimes they **do** stay where I put them... it's just certain pets, or certain times, that this happens. I'll have to pay...

Pet skills resetting location?
I'm a bit of a neurotic, and I rearrange my pet's skills on the pet bar to suit my keybindings, but lately I've found that they're resetting position after I respec my pet (from ferocity to tenacity, for instance, and back again). Anyone else having this problem?

I just updated my stable for MoP... and it's almost exactly the same as my stable now! The only difference is I switched my wolf for a water strider and added a crane! I guess I'm unimpressed with most of the new MoP pets... but maybe more will come out before September. http://i46.tinypic.com/1zdp1...

Just went to check on that, yes the Vargul Blighthounds are now in the Dog family, not Wolf. No! My poor Backslash! He's been virtually my ONLY pet for all of Wrath (when I'm not soloing, that is) and he's always been a wolf! I have grown sad and forlorn! (At least I can get a pet in the dog family...

A Pale Horso didn't affect fliers the last time I checked, though. I can't say if this will apply once Cataclysm hits, but if mount speeds work the same then as they do now: Speed increases based on talents (Pale Horse, Crusader, Pathfinding) do not stack with each other.
