Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
ALOT of pets aren't showing up; infact for EU armory NONE of my pets are showing up. Even INTENDED tames. It's an Armory error.Unggoy wrote:Not that the pet itself is broken, but the undead eagle model doesn't show up in my stables on the new site, leading me to believe we weren't supposed to tame them. >_>
Araniis: Just tested this and yep no Spirit Bond here either for my dog :<
Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
All new tamed pets when you call them comes out with 6K health and you have to put them back in stable and call them back to get real numbers.
Happens twice on each new pet. Will see if its still bugging...

Something minor but weird: I just tamed a Lost Ravager in Winterspring, but my log-in screen shows a Gore-Scythe Ravager. I logged back in, dismissed and recalled the pet and logged back out, but it still displays the wrong pet.
Lok'tar ogar!
Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
I had a Fjord Crow tamed (named Atreides ^_^) that was a Carrion Bird and got switched with all the other storm crow models to be Birds of Prey... I'm fine with that change, but now that the bird has switched from Ferocity to Cunning, its talent points are all screwy. I'm only able to use 5 points instead of the normal max amount.
I'll bet all the pets that had talent tree switches are bugged like this...

Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
Update on the Worm issue:
I just solo'ed Skettis Halls with Daggoth, and Burrow works exactly how it's been described here -- it still damages enemies, but it drops aggro at the same time. No amount of Growl, Taunt, Misdirect or anything else can counter this. It is a Feign Death for pets -_-
It is possible to still solo Anzu, it just takes a little stragety. For the bird flocks, I brounght Daggoth over to where I was, let the birds come to us, and then Burrowed. I had to stand the birds attacks myself for a few minutes, but the area damage of the Burrow plus an Explosive Trap managed to down them without too much trouble. When Anzu was attackable again, I had Daggoth get his attention while I used a bandage.
As long as you have a way to replenish your health between bird attacks to at least half way (bandages, potions, Lifebloom, Gift of the Nauru, Engineering tricks, etc.), a reasonably geared lvl 80 shouldn't have any trouble with soloing this dungeon, even after the Worm Nerf. Next time I'm in there, I'll try with my Chimera, to see if its AoE does any better.

Sorry, my previous comment may have been confusing. I was referring to the community site in response to the post directly above mine, not the game itself. In game, Anguirus is most certainly sporting the fantastic new Ancient look. He's one of my favorite additions.Cialbi wrote:Huh, my turtle showed up fine, complete with the awesome new skin.swordoath wrote:Some of them haven't been added yet. It a 50/50 bug.
Then you get pet from or send him to stable - moving, exchanging your pets around etc - you may not be able to call ANY pets.
"You do not have pet to summon"
The only way to fix it - relogg.

It seems my Mining Monkey for the Deadmines doesn't have any combat animation. Instead, he just stands there and goes through his idle animations.
Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
While I agree with you on the "Blizz taking away tanking abilities from tenacity pets" comment; you do realize that if worms weren't fixed they would just be the "wolves" of the tenacity tree right? At least now we have a choice. Technically turtles are kinda "wolfing" the tree now but not enough to make me get one. Not having any more wolfing of trees is only a good thing.TygerDarkstorm wrote:So lame, imo. Now we have no solo tank pets with AoE capabilities. Tenacity pets are supposed to be tank pets and Blizzard keeps taking that more and more away. At least, that's how I feel about it.Slickrock wrote:That's working as intended. It's now a raid AOE pet. The brain-bug in Ungoro is still bugged. (But I just tamed the other one from Tanaris, so not gonna worry about it..

Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
If they left all the tenacity abilities as they were, then there would be a wide variety of tank pets. Crocs were amazing for AoE tanking and bears were good as well. I'd be fine if they nerfed the damage on burrow if it wouldn't wipe aggro. It's rather annoying to have to stand on my pet just for the attack to go off and do damage.Snowwfire wrote:

My point was that we no longer have a pet that can keep decent AoE threat. Not all of us have/use the glyph of MD and from my past experiences, turtles aren't so good in the AoE department and I'm not fond of the new bear ability. Your statement comes off as kind of contradicting as well. You say you agree with Blizz taking away tenacity's tanking capabilities, then you say we have choice now. The only choice we have now for true tank pets is either a beetle or turtle; and they both do the same ability. There was much more choice before the pet overhaul.

Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
Yeah you mean ignore the fact for BM, for dps they would have still been using a SB or Devilsaur for the most part? But I mean, that's ok, right? This isn't a fix or a solution imo. If they want to give us a DPS talent and then have it not be of any worth, because seriously, a worm, in a raid inviroment!? Then half the damage and let worms still produce threat and attack and not do it as an FD! I can't solo with Sunscale that well, I DEPENDED on his Wormquake to get thru some of the messes I got myself into; infact it was also used a few times to prevent several wipes as if Sunscale had DROPPED aggro at any point in time in a few heroics...Snowwfire wrote:While I agree with you on the "Blizz taking away tanking abilities from tenacity pets" comment; you do realize that if worms weren't fixed they would just be the "wolves" of the tenacity tree right? Blizz needs to do us a favor and fix this mess.
And also btw they weren't really wolfing the tree as you weren't forced to have one, they were simply the best in the tree for exotics/BM, but well... yeah.
Atleast I love beetles and have the MD glyph T_T

Re: Broken pets.. report em all here (and a new report)
I don't, but I happily modded it away with a silent .wav. >> At least take it off Gondria and Loque... Gondria is a ghost and Loque is noisy enough. I just really can't see the appeal in a slobber noise, it's disgusting and my cat sounds like it's in pain from being stepped on by a moose. But to each their own, since what sounds godawful to me might be pleasing to someone else.
I disagree on worms being the best tenacity pet. My trusty turtle's gotten me through many a mess. I gave him taunt and he did just fine.
As for broken pets? I think my Harakiss keeps making thud noises like he's fallen over. Has anyone else heard a lot of thuds around their brain bugs?

Here's a bug I just noticed today: Dogs don't have charge in their ferocity tree

Had the same problem last night, I believe it happens when you put the pet you have beside you in the stable master slot before dismissing him and placing another pet from the stable master slot into that active slot i.e. swapping them while being active.Bubu wrote:It a 50/50 bug.

In that way I had no pet standing next to me and i was not able to call that pet or another pet. I had to use dismiss first and then call it again. Otherwise I would see that red message.

Yes had the same with the 2 bosses I tamed from the Boss Trio @ AQ40.Novikova wrote:As for broken pets? I think my Harakiss keeps making thud noises like he's fallen over. Has anyone else heard a lot of thuds around their brain bugs?
Like a loud thud every now and then. But not with the Brain Bug with the smashed skull from 1k needles.
