I've absolutely fallen in love with my new gray demon dog, who still needs a name. Her run and idle animations are just adorable. But for sure I'll be leveling to 85 with my faithful Gezzarak (Zydra) by my side. She's been with me since 73.

Indeed! I've always loved his last name, such a cool sound to it (and was also a triceratops enemy in Mario!), and the man has always been an inspiration. The name just fit. ^^

well i still am quite attatched to many of my pre cata patch pets. (my tan silithid Hydralisk, purple chimera Shadowsin and my blue tiger: Boyfriend toname a few) lol silly names i guess =P i love my brainbug though... even though she seems to be frozen in terror or stuck in a coma right now... i also like my seagull alot more then i thought i would. that lil guy is going to be great in hellfire pvp if he keeps his ability to fly =D me and a friend both tamed one and hit the bgs just so we could see them fly off after everone lol

I levelled with a Hyena and the red skin is my favourite...right now unless you have Slaverjaw your Scarlett Tracking Hound became a dog so he will be rare for a while.....her name is Minger cause of hyena's propensity of chewing off their own feet if caught in a trap just like when you wake up next to a ......

Next favourite is probably my old undead wolf from Felwood...name Emo.....

I can say for certain that Adamantoise will never be far away from my beck and call. He is the staple for "Oh look, it's Elite..." cause well, he can take a literal beating and never flinch.

Otherwise, I am really torn at the moment. Likely bring Leviathan for AoE work, cause Burrow is just awesome. Maduin for regular questing (self-healing pet FTW!).

I've gotten really attached to my ant Silithid lately - probably because he's my first ever retired pet. I'm also liking my white Beetle. <3 (And I feel like a bug fan right now, having only these two crawlies with me at all times.)

Sadly I'm slowly drifting away from my dear Ghost Saber.. Using a cat feels wrong, when I have two Spirit Beasts that bring everything a cat does, and a heal to boot.

I'm crazy about my Chrommagus Azzinoth will be my main levelling pet come Cata.

Other than that, Freki the barking wolf, Chapa the Ghamoo-ra (does this count as old or new? she's always been a Ghamoo so got automatic reskin), and Rakeesh the brown lynx will see most of the action.

Ares the Loque will take a well-deserved rest once I tame Ylva (spirit wolf). She's an important part of my RP story, a deceased pup I have to find and reunite with the rest of the family. I hope one day I will succeed

I've tamed a seagull, glowy blue demon dog, Gezzarak, white fox, red parrot, dark grey bone spider... my favorites have got to be the fox and the seagull. Oh my god I love my seagull so much! I did a random Halls of Reflection and actually had someone compliment my seagull... said it was amazing, and that they were seriously considering rolling a hunter just so they could have one. Hahaha.

I'm still getting my new tames up to 80 so who knows who else I will fall in love with.

But my faithful standby is Ghamoo'ra who got a new look! Yesterday I tried soloing some trash in ICC10 with him but sadly that was a bit too much to ask. But it's nice to see an unbuffed turtle reach 60k hp. Looking forward to Cataclysm

I have several pets who just have taken my breath away

New fave, the green demon runed dog from EPL, named her MsChif in honor of one of my fave indy/RoH/SHIMMER female wrestlers who's staple color is green and portrays a demonic banshee woman straight from the inferno. The flaming feet are just too cool, especially when you look at the screen while wearing those old school 3d glasses.

Also got two foxes, a black one named Mulder (X-Files reference, I just had to) and a red one I named DrStevie (for the TNA wrestler), that I'm really enjoying as well. Use them a lot as just show off in town pets for their dance ability.

And I got one of the miner monkeys outta deadmines, a black one I named JohnCena that's a ton of fun in WG. My first day with him he flung some poo at a troll DK which let me quickly solo the DK.

As far as my old standby, my first stable slot is and always will be Deathmaw (renamed CMPunk), my guildies are used to seeing me with him in raids, he brings some nice damage buffs for the group, and I'm most attached to him out of all my pets. I keep all my pets lvl'd up right with me by rotating out the other stable slots between them, but Punk is always my number one slot. Second most used would be my turquoise warp stalker, Miz, just because I've found lately that I need a reliable tank in heroic randoms, so I'll call Miz outta stable slot 2 when the tank is failzor.

You know, I've never been one to get too attached to polygons, so I assumed when the patch went live I would ditch most of my pre-patch pets and go on a taming rampage, but I found that I really can't let go of a lot of my pets. >.>

Anyway, of my new tames I'm very taken with Rayze, my new daggertail lizard, and Verek, a rare red demon dog from BRD. Every time I had run that dungeon and bumped into him I always wished I could tame him, so when he was made tamable I about lost it.

My biggest surprise by far was taming Magmadar. When he didn't keep his boss tag, I was going to say screw it and have my guildies run me through BWL for Chromaggus, but he has really grown on me. I like that he doesn't stomp, and there's something neat about knowing you tamed the fearsome boss from Molten Core.

As far as old standbys go, Antiquus my OCJ, Dionysius my Krush, and Vultros (an old carrion bird rare spawn from Westfall) will always be among my favorites. I could never replace Tremor, my old-world style white worm, either. He has tanked so much for me!
