Re: Dungeon Etiquette
My rule of thumb:
Whatever spec you came as, is what you roll as, you can only roll on your other spec if the person who came on that spec does not need the item.
You do not double roll on an item, the only time I allow a friend to "double roll" for me is when someone's trying to ninja. (AKA Heroic Healing trinket drops which lliterally says HEALING on it while on my priestess and a warrior tries to ninja need on it to vendor. Then yeah, I'll holler at a friend to hit need too while I proceed to ask if the warrior read prior to hitting Need/Greed.)
For the OP:
Yes, I agree that the hunter was in the wrong. It is not common practice, nor is it correct. It is just a couple friends manipulating the system and taking advantage of the fact that there will be little to no reprocussions for their actions. This is the issue with the LFG system, but fortunately it doesn't BoP so with a bit of pushing you can get them to hand it over.
For the Rest:
I have to back up the Agility people when it comes to druids (Sorry Taluwen!!!).. Agility is a feral druids prefered stat, bears included. It has been quite some time since Str was their deal.
I fear for the healers on a server where bears don't gear agility, I just see giant tubs of health with nearly no form of mitigating damage (dodge) if they have no agi, not to mention their threat wouldn't be optimal. I didn't see the cloak in question, so I can't say much on the exact event. But Agility, Stam..and if it has Mastery...awesome for bear (throw in some dodge and expertise while you're at it) Very few circumstances would make me go "NO NO, that doesn't go to the bear." eg. If there was no stam on the thing, I'd have to question his sanity. Or if he states he wouldn't use it in current spec, then I'd tell him to toss it over.. You'd be hard pressed to find any actual Strength Leather gear these days as well, which shows that Blizz doesn't want Bears Strengthing things anymore..

Sounds purrrrrrfect.Davarra wrote:My pleasure...actually, how about I let Murloc do it? A Divine Feline should have large enough paws and claws for a truly worthy smack.
Lol! Don't be sorry. Most agility gear has stam though so theres gotta be a difference between cat and bear gear somewhere.Mearra wrote:

Keep in mind that spellpower leather/mail is fairly uncommon at that level. I wore a LOT of cloth leveling up my resto shaman simply because there was no leather partner at the time.Taluwen wrote: SM Library- My priest friend rolled need on the robes(his main spec is Holy). Resto druid did as well. In my eyes, thats still ninja'ing considering druids use leather and priests use cloth. Not too severe but still pissed off my friend.
