Deathmaw and The Razza MIA?
Can't seem to find him, and my last camp was about 9 hours patrolling his known spawn points.
Can anyone confirm that he is still in the game at this moment, or is he MIA?
Or perhaps has his spawn points changed in the live and I am not finding him because he is no longer near the Dreadmaul Rock?
Also I've taken a break for a bit and went to look for the Razza in Feralas. No luck finding him either. Any recent confirmation sitings on him?

As for Deathmaw ,yeah. That's a harder one to find. I would swear I've seen him, but I can't prove it, and I haven't seen him since on live. Just on the PTR.

I dumped my Numaroc for him as I like his upcoming color a bit more.

Still no luck on Deathmaw though.

I've been searching for him on more than one server for over a week now, so randomly one of my toons should run into it but no.
Also i've put in a ticket about Deathmaw and got an interesting reply. Sorry no screenshot as i only manage to read it before the server went down last nite. From the in game mail reply, basically the GM said they are unsure or not so knowledgeable on the behaviours of certain NPCs and suggested i check the forums (gave link to bnet forums) and fansites for more uptodate and accurate information. (not a word for word quote, but basically a summary of what was in the GM reply).
I think Blizzard is too busy at the moment with all the in game bugs to check

Safe to assume, we'll only see Deathmaw when 4.06 goes live.

EDIT: Nope, no rares are up. Looks like it was indeed the entire zone.

Deathmaws spawn point is RIGHT smack dab into (and around) a well-known archeology site (I myself have dug there many times). Which means it's hard to tell now if he's really not live, or if he's just being killed by every NPCscaning archeologist who flies that way.

If that ping on wowhead's map is a true spawn point of Deathmaw, it's in the middle of a bunch of dragonkin as opposed to the worgs of the area. Seems kinda odd to me.
I'll check the zone again later on my hunter.

Re: Deathmaw and The Razza MIA?
When I flew over it, I saw a few of the Ember Worgs patrolling that spot. Kinda just walking around it, so it's not too inconceivable that he could walk/path around there. However, I haven't seen hide nor tail of Deathmaw for days now, and Burning Steppes isn't that populated on my realm at any part of the day.TygerDarkstorm wrote: If that ping on wowhead's map is a true spawn point of Deathmaw, it's in the middle of a bunch of dragonkin as opposed to the worgs of the area. I don't think that _NPCScan has old world rares preloaded - you have to make the entries yourself by looking up the NPC ID#.Rikaku wrote:Yanno, from the looks of that wowhead shot, that REALLY confirms my worst fears.

In other words, far more trouble than your average archaeologist would ever go to.
Cute doesn't need an explanation.
