i keep the glitched pets i love because i am afraid they will be removed from game, but for everything else i adopt a tag and release way of doing things. i just want them in my database so that if they become unavailable at some point in the future, they can be restored to my stables. i would never ask for something that is easy to reacquire to be restored, but a spirit beast def isn't easy to get again.
(that said, i can't bring myself to let any of my spirit beasts go either, even though loque is the only one i use with regularity...though karoma would never leave my pet slots if i ever found him!)
Time to let a lot of pets go :(

Release them to a good home... say what?Royi wrote:I have a lot of pets I never use in my stables, they are all stuck at lvl 82 and I don't think I'll be leveling them anytime soon.
I plan on doing a small event perhaps tonight in Org near the hunters there to release them into a good home. Or else I should give the pets to Breanni in Dalaran? She specializes in mini-pets more so likely i'll drop them off with all the hunter trainers in Org. Does anyone know of a different better hunter trainer place to let pets go at?.

Abandon is abandon - click, *poof*
But otherwise, yeah by all means free up the slots if you have something else in mind!

I feel the exact same way, Royi. I abandoned Gondria 3 times, mostly because we never clicked, and yet she still came back to me!! In the end, I thought it must clearly mean something
I've gone through goodness knows how many 'Tame them and see' or 'phase' pets, and I look back and go '...what on Earth was I THINKING?!', and it's all part of the process of playing your hunter!
There's only one pet I've ever regretted letting go, and that was my Ghost Hydralisk. But most of your pets were intended, so if you ever change your mind, you can always go back =) x

Yeah I let the hunter trainers in Orgrimmar adopt them. They're always outside with their pets and have ample room for additionsWorba wrote:Release them to a good home... say what?![]()

Re: Time to let a lot of pets go :(
Yeah I mainly went for rares because of the NPCSCAN drums rush. Thats mainly it. For pets like Ghostcrawler and Karoma, I basically tamed them, tried them out for 5 min, then they just sat in the stables. Gondria as well. I keep thinking I'll use Skoll eventually so I keep him around just in case.Tyuriwen wrote:I feel the exact same way, Royi. So that's where they came from.
