2:18am I finally got my last of the 10pets which for me was Magria. I am the first on my server from my Knowledge, 1week and 1day after the patch.

Not actually a 4.2, but I finally found Sambas!

I've tried for months. And I hadn't even noticed that NPCscan had him as cached and wouldn't yell if it saw him. I was just flying around the zone doing some of the quests that I hadn't completed, and there he was, just north of Thundermar, wandering down the pathway.

And I almost dropped my iced tea on the laptop. Good thing I caught it!

The tame itself was uneventful, but I have my beauty now. I named him Symir, and here he is:

To everyone else who's had great tames I would like to congratulate you all GRATS!! =))

This post of mine is for Golden.. I too totally believe in karma.. and I guess for everyone else,
DO NOT GIVE UP!! Hang in there. On day 2 of the 4.2 went live, I have successfully tamed all 10
rares and loved the challenges.. and what do I do? I help fellow hunters, friends, guildies, etc
opposite faction even.. on giving these beasts a new home.

But before I go on showing photos on me helpin others.. I just wanted to point out a name for my Ban'thalos,
I named him " Twitter " lol I know it isnt original but a best friend of mine recommended it to me =P
Without further prolonging .. here are (some of) the pics..

Watched another troll hunter tame Deth just now -- cheered for him when he got it! He said he got all the non-exotics, Deth was the last one and he doesn't play BM, so the cats etc. aren't for him ...

It seems like my (Morga's) bad luck with the spirit beasts ist finally over. While camping for Banny I was randomly searching for Ankha/Magria with my Eagle-eye, hoping for Ankha, as I already have Magria. Suddenly npcscan went off, scaring me and my rl-cat to death (she was jumping up und eyeing me carefully with huge black eyes...) and there she was, Ankha in full beauty and grace. I immediately took off my gear and got ready for the tame. Meet my new love: Nahimana (means Mystic in Sioux). Here's a shot of me wrestling with her

don't have a name for Skarr yet...maybe you guys can help?
I named Ban'thalos, Hedwig, because Harry Potter is very dear to me and it's almost finished, so i only thought it appropriate to let it live on through one of my babies

Deth'tilac also got a Harry Potter name - Aragog

Magria was named Bluebelle to match my Gondria, Snowbelle.
and as for Karkin, well, it will be a while till I name him. I went through a lot of stress getting that one

I decided to name my Skarr Ruby, because of the red eyes. Magria and Ankha both got female indian-american names. if yout want to take a look there: http://www.welt-der-indianer.de/verschi ... men-w.html
It's in german, but the explanations to the names are in both, german and english.

GUESS WHO FINALLY GOT HER SKARR?!

Yep. And the weirdest part? I wasn't even camping. I'd decided to take a break from it for a few days, since it was driving me so crazy seeing that crab all the time. But after some time I had the urge to just go have one, quick peak to see if he was there... I turned the corner... Skarr was sat on the low ledge, by himself, no one else around. I. Couldn't. Believe. My. Eyes.

Dimissed pet, stood right on the edge of the cliff, tame, silence shot, tame... Come on... I bet some stealthed hunter's gunna gank me at the last second... OMG HIS NAME WENT BLUE?! HE'S MINE!

Less than five seconds after I tamed, another Horde hunter comes round the corner, asking me if I'd just got that pet. I very proudly said yes. And then, while I stood there staring at him in amazement for a few minutes, I saw my life getting drained, turned my camera and there's that pesky, horrid Dwarf hunter ganking me. He's been there for days as well but insists on ganking me all the time, even if I just left him alone. I'm glad he saw me with the pet and that it became mine and not his!

I'm so happy right now. xD I'm dying to tell my boyfriend but he's having a nap and not feeling too well so I can't call him and spaz out just yet. I can't BELIEVE he was just sat there! My NPC Scan already had him cached so I had to blink a few times when I thought I saw a black cat sat on a rock with glowing red eyes. I also attempted to stay as calm as physically possible. But duing the actual tame I started shaking, thinking that it was just too weird that it was this quiet out here and no one was trying to tame him. But no one ganked me at the last minute at all! Eep! So happy!

Edit: Oh, my boyfriend wanted to call him Rognvald. I told him if he was camping with me at the time I tamed it, I'd call him that, if he wasn't I would call it Gem. But I used his idea anyway.

I'm freaking out!! I was so sure I wouldn't see him for days if not weeks after having him stolen from me last night... But there he was, for the second time on my Birthday. The tame was actually successful on the first try. <3 So happy now!

Thinking of naming him Voldemort, to honor the premier of the last HP movie...

Helped get Solix tamed, then OH MAN, epic hunter PvP on the rocks/Fireplume. Okay, so it wasn't really that epic; it was the horde taking potshots at the alliance and running back off out of line of sight, then them camping once they had the advantage of numbers via scattered res timers (and disorganized allies...sigh).

But.

The other allies left....and Karkin spawned. The little crab that could was laying the smack down on the horde at the NE rock. I snuck around to the other side and picked off the offenders after a failed tame, with the intention of giving the message "we can do this the easy way or the hard way....this is the hard way." Fortunately, one of my horde buddies who I'd helped previously was able to essentially convey this message to them. Helped out the tamer with a barrage silence and bam, tamed crab.

I was mildly surprised that they didn't turn around and gank me after the tame was done, but hey, whatever works.

What a wonderful morning for me...
I logged in 9.20 am with Morga to look for Ban (sadly nothing) - then over to Findu who was camping Skarr. No Skarr, but Skitterflame AND Kirix were up. Since my husband loves to have Kirix, I logged in his hunter went to Fireplum (after a few deaths caused by jumping with shaky hands) set off ancient hysteria, dismissed corehound and hit tame. Kirix killed me just nanoseconds before the tame was done. Same thing again with speed potion and hysteria, again fail. I remembered Findu beeing MM because of Skarr and sitting just around the corner. So I started the second computer, logged her in and guess what I saw? Right in front of me a pair of beautiful red eyes looked into mine. Three rares in one spot, and no other hunters to be seen - seemed almost too much luck for me. So with even more shaky hands I tamed Skarr, then hopped to the rock I was standing on with my husband's hunter. Started ancient hysteria again, hit tame for Kirix and used Findu to silence his cast and seconds later my husband had his new spider by his side. Then I tried taming Skitterflame with Findu, but sadly my last trap got him killed

Now I'm back in my treetop waiting for Banny, who's the last of the new rares I want... well porobably I will tame Solix, but I'm not in a hurry to do so....
I'll add pics when my husband's found a name for his spider, so we can do a screen together.

I've still got shaky hands, 'cause I finally got my Banny. I came back from shopping for the weekend, logged back in and BAM there he was, flying above me. I saw a Nelf falling to death and a pally trying to kill him following him. An ally druid tried to interuppt me by landing on my tree and moonfiring him, he got out of my trap and hit me hard, but then the tame was done, his name flashed blue and I saw him flapping below me on the grass. Exciting tame. I got some spit-macro by a dwarf or was it the nightelf... dunno. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy

Now I need to finde a matching Name for this creature.

Only have 2 out of the 3 at the moment, but was thinking of a trio to name them after ...

Think I am going to end up switching their names around .. Rom was the newest one so named him first, and renamed other to Hal ... think the tints of the pets would compliment their name sakes better if I switched them. Going on vacation for a couple of weeks so will think about it. One left to go! Naked farming FTW!
