Hope this doesn't ruin the endearment for you, but I imagine the reason he sometimes goes after critters is because his Dust Cloud hits them. After he finishes off his target, the one you sent him after, he goes after the next aggroed creature which happens to be the nearby rabbit that he sent scurrying after blinding it with dust. If I remember right, my carrion bird used to do the same exact thing with Demoralizing Screech. Those AoE abilities hit everything within that radius, including the ambient creatures, putting them in combat.Teigan wrote: But anyway, what I was going to post was that I love my tallstrider because he sometimes darts off after a fight to slaughter the nearest critter. That's probably it. But sometimes, he goes after something a long ways off and ignores other critters between him and his target. Like the other day, I was at this area where there's some cows and such in the center field and mobs around the edges. We were killing mobs along one side. After killing one, he darted clear across the field and killed a cow. Didn't pay any notice to all the other cows between him and the cow he killed. Usually, I say "dust cloud" but sometimes.....I wonder.
