Hmm, Good point. However, the biggest reason for the lack of interest in Arch is the traveling time. It goes from the extreme north to south alot of the times. It seems blizzard enjoys making us travel to. A player asked during the open Q and A whether we'd see a Dalaran-like capital city on the new continent of Pandaria. The reply the player got was:
We will have separate player hubs for both the Horde and Alliance on Pandaria. Separate hubs means we do not have to make them sanctuary and will encourage world PVP. These hubs will have access to an AH, Bank and general vendors. Valor, conquest, profession and faction vendors will be scattered around the world to encourage travel.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?

I don't think that's a bad thing. What's the point of Blizzard making a beautiful landscape (such as Crystalsong Forest), only for people to completely ignore it and just sit in the exact same spot for everything they do?

There's just not enough love for Crystal Song. ; _ ;
I signed up for this and think its a great deal. I do the 6 months package, so I pay only $12.99 for my subscription instead of a full $15, so it was totally worth it. I was planning on playing for the next year and buying Diablo 3, so win/win for me. I really like this idea and applaud Blizzard for it. Us long time players who plan on continuing to play are being rewarded with a free game basically. Also, entrance to Mists beta no matter what was a little perk. I got into Cata beta back in WOTLK, but never played it much. I felt like I was wasting my beta key that others would die for. I was tempted to give it away at first, but I really did want to see and experience some of Cata before it was fully released.
Part of Dark Magics, lvl 25 Horde guild, casual, helpful, don't raid, mostly help people and hunt pets.
Part of Dynasty, lvl 25 Alliance guild, casual and hardcore (your choice, no one forces you to raid, but you can), very helpful
Come on over if interested (Runetotem US, Horde name Sarantha, Ally name Ellysetta or Valeraud)
hey if u dont want to add a year's worth of monthly payment plans onto your current subscription is it possible to use the existing time you have to reduce the cost?
um my bad
I have an active subscription already. What happens to the time I already paid for?
Any qualifying subscription time remaining on the account at the time of accepting the Annual Pass offer may be applied toward the 12-month subscription commitment.
For example: If you had started a 6-month subscription 2 months prior to accepting the Annual Pass offer, 4 months of your remaining subscription time would be applied toward your 12-month subscription commitment.

Depends how you look at it. I planned to keep playing anyway, so for me it's free stuff. For others it could be viewed as bribery.
it may have been said, just sign up with your debit card, then after the first month gets taken out and you get your fancy horse, call your bank and say your debit card it lost. switch to prepaid cards. win/win

you wont be charged consecutive.
I'm pretty sure that's actually illegal, and better not give anyone tips about that.

I guess depends on the fine print in the agreement. I don't think they would attempt to send people to collections, they would just freeze their accounts until a new payment form is submitted.

it'll go up to the time you paid off then start there. Like mine doesnt start til January 3rd.
So what happens if someone signs up, loses their job, and has their card canceled, or it gets maxed out and the charge bounces, etc.
Virtually impossible to prove criminal intent there.
Blizzard's not going to take anyone to court over something like that - especially when they already have a perfectly adequate response that doesn't require a judge; simply cancel the player's account and freeze his toons; if he wants to renew his subscription allow him to do so but remove the 1 year commitment from his account, along with the horse and whatnot.
What you are suggesting is fraud, and could land you jail time. Doesn't matter what the fine print says.
Yes jail time over 14.99 a month...
Yeah they would probably remove the horse, that would make sense. or freeze your account entirely until it was paid up in full. Meh no worries
You are missing the fraud.

Blizz won't put you in jail, they will just perma-ban you. Your bank will put you in jail.

Simple.
So because you don't think you'll get caught or it can't be proven justifies cheating and fraud? I don't like where these forums are going.

Did I say it was justified? No.
Did I say you wouldn't get "caught"? No.
What I said was that A) your chance of being taken to court is virtually nil, but that B) Blizzard still has a simple recourse - as above they would just freeze your account until you pay the balance owed, and even then you'd lose the freebies, so it would end up being a net loss for the player.
I thought I was pretty clear about that...
And what does this have to do with "where these forums are going"?
Yeah, seriously, can we drop the fraud thing? It's simple enough to go on a payment plan, then add prepaid cards before your card is ever charged (by putting the cards on early), and removing your card from your account after the full year is accounted for. You can just cancel the payment plan once you're paid up through the mandatory year, whenever that happens.
The fraud came in with Royi's suggestion to falsely report your debit card missing in order to make Blizz drop your card. That is fraud, if you don't believe me, just ask your bank...
What Kalliope suggests is the correct way to do it.
