Pets You Have For Real Life Reasons? :)

I have a Desolace Hyena (Rudra) because they're one of my favorite animals in real life. He's also my oldest pet; I got him 5 years ago when my hunter was level 31. When I saw them I HAD to have one -- I love their color. But because they're always in packs there, I had two friends run interference using Target Dummies, etc. with the rest of the pack while I tamed him. Good times. =)

My cousin and best friend, Matthias, passed away recently. He loved wolves like none else, and worked at a wolf sanctuary, his dream job. He had a large white akita inu called Loki, and when he passed away we took Loki into our home. This is why I decided recently, to take the hike to Dun Morogh from Eversong at level 10, to tame a winter wolf. On the way I tamed a frost leopard, but the sentiment and emotion for a wolf was there, so I ditched my leopard for a winter wolf.
I have named him Lokami, after Loki and my own border collie called Okami. Eventually I'll change the name to Loki, and tame Ironjaw to call Okami, but until then, Lokami is his name.

Ironjaw has similar colouring to my border collie, but there is really no comparison. Okami is red/blond furred, with shades of black and white, with white paws and a white mark on her head. She is truly stunning. She's also a little crazy, as she likes to chase shadows, but then again, it's always the pretty ones, eh? xD

Loki on the other hand is majestic, beautiful, and pure. He's also a playful and boisterous pup.

So, there is the full story. I may have babbled a bit, but I felt like talking, and you guys aren't here to babble at me, the way my school friends would. They don't seem to understand me, but then gain, they're young.

My "spirit guide" would have to be the scorpions (I know the game says scorpids, but I say scorpions). On my long retired hunter and even on my current one, I've owned the same scorpion: the bright turquoise one. The first time I tamed one, there was this instant inseparable bond between me and him that just could not be broken. I believe it is because I am a Scorpio myself (my b-day is in late October). On my retired hunter, I named that scorpion Scorpio; on my current hunter, I named this one Antares after one of the main stars in the Scorpio constellation.
