Re: Minor Glyph MOP Wish List ~
I keep getting ideas oO
Glyph of Emoting Pets
Your pet randomly causes a family specific emote (make the addon an official thing?)
Glyph of What is this I don't even
You and your pet switch models. Yes that means you will be shooting bullets out your bear's face while your hunter runs up and melees the target.
Glyph of Mama bear
When your pet is summoned, 2-4 mini sized "baby" versions of the same model also spawn and follow mama around (think Mazzranache)
Glyph of Feigny Death (to be different than the current one)
When you feign death, your pet does to. (OK that would be a mechanical change, but could be fun if you didnt slot it when you needed your pet to stay on aggro tables).
Glyph of Sad pet
When you feign death, your pet runs next to you and emotes sad things.
Glyph of you gotta go when you gotta go
You pet occasionally makes a dookie.
Glyph of shimmer suit pet
Your pet constantly cycles colors available for its skin (think the shimmer suit the guy wears in scanner darkly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWs6t9g5MdQ)
Glyph of cheeky fox
Your fox pet randomly follows a nearby player while doing the dance animation for X seconds.
Glyph of cheeky pet
Your pet randomly follows a nearby player for X seconds.
Glyph of the Beast within
Your hunter assume a vicious visage of the pet family you summon. (You would become a bipedal tiger model when you have a cat out, or arrakoa when you have a bird out etc)
Glyph of loldruid
Your pet resembles a random druid cat or bear form.
Glyph of spooky pet
when you successfully rez your pet, it takes on a ghostly form for X seconds as its soul enters the world again.
Glyph of Algalonitis
Your pet takes on a celestial Algalonish look (think celestial steed, not magria or moonkin stars glyph)
Glyph of Who is this?
When your pet spawns, it has a random name (maybe something similar to how DK ghouls are.)
Glyph of Legendary Hunter
When [trigger], you take the form of one of the legendary hunter/rangers of Azeroth history. (Not sure what would trigger this cosmetic effect, but you would turn into a hunter in lore, like Sylvanus, Hemet or Rexxar)
Glyph of Feed pet
When you feed pet and are X yards from a critter, your pet will run to the critter, kill it, put it in its mouth and bring it to you, dropping the dead critter at your feet. If you do not feed pet again within 15 seconds of this occurring, your pet will get upset, will auto cast Bestial Wrath on itself and be pacified for 30 seconds. It will also probably make a dookie on the rug.
Glyph of Butt sniffer
Randomly when your pet is within X yards of another hunter pet of same family, it will go to that pet and sniff its butt.
Glyph of animal planet
Randomly when your pet is within X yards of another hunter pet of same family, it will go up to that pet and try to... um... this is awkward...
Glyph of whiny pet
When you have the stable master window open and click a pet in the stable, the pet will make a whine/whimper/cry emote because it is lonely and wants you to play with it.
Glyph of But mom! I want to stay out and play!
Sometimes your pet resists Dismiss Pet because it wants to stay out and play.

I'm not sure how it would work with being able to have 2 active "buffs/debuffs/abilities" from the 2 different pets at the same time..... but omg /drool Yes please!

I like your idea of pets having a faux element buff. Seems very WoW-y without being anything more than cosmetic (which is really what we're after here!).
This-- though I really would love to see the devilsaurs closer to their real size too!

*dreams* Yeah, if it wouldn't mean ALL SORTS of griefing possibilities, I'd be hoping for that too, just because it makes me giggle madly every time I see a full size devilsaur pet.Araela wrote:Kalliope wrote:I'm hoping for a minor glyph that allows us to show our pets at a size closer to their size in the wild (to eliminate "too big" - devilsaurs - and "too small" - Lo'Shall).
