I think the streaks look very out of place on pandaren, but that's just my opinion. I even think they're out of place on night elves, just because I remember night elves being very serious, reclusive and almost regal in WC3. Not, "OMG LOL TEEHEE!"

I do think they'd fit great on humans, gnomes, blood elves and goblins, though. Buuuut, at least the white streaks look normal enough, I suppose.

oooh, I actually really love the purple with black and the green with red :D
I also LOVE Black with black. It's just a nice blend of color. ^.^
Black and green also looks awesome. <_<

I agree that they seem out of place for the pandaren, and I hope there will be an option to not have any, but I'm not going to lie, some of them do look pretty good.

Blue looks rather nice on the red, not sure if I'd like it on a black panda. Black and white is gorgeous, and one of my favourites. Red and white is a bit strange but not terrible. Purple and black is a definite win, wouldn't want purple on red personally. Green and red is pretty, and it's ok on black too. The pink isn't to my liking, but goes ok with the black. I hate how it clashes with the red hairbands though. Red on black is gorgeous, but I may prefer black and white. I am undecided about orange on red, but it's awful on the black for sure. Black on black is good, but black with red is odd...except for the first picture, which I strangely like. O.o

I'm also rather sad that two of my three favourite hairstyles are no longer available. I sure hope they haven't been removed. :(

I love the idea, to be frank, so I think I'll be taking advantage of these streaks. Fun little addition. ^.^

Truth be told, I never liked pandas in the first place. So, right from the get go, my analysis will be biased. Also, I do not mean ANY offense towards anyone, so don't take any. A fair warning ahead of time.

I find that giving those pudgy bears silly highlights is just ridiculous. They're already absurdly out of place in appearance, considering they don't even look like bears past the markings, but giving them punk-styled highlights just makes it a joke like ToR. That's not even oriental themed like the darn expansion is, and the females have maybe TWO hair styles that are vaguely oriental (Buns and long braided ponytail, the latter being questionable). I wanted to give Pandaren a chance, as I had the same issues with Worgen; they were stupid looking at first, but I slowly grew on them (except for those of certain "cultures" that I won't bring up). Pandas? No, I'm not growing on them. They can stay in their bamboo forests. They can stay away from me. I don't want to see them. Only exceptions are the quest NPCs. Surely they won't look like idiots and act like it too.

The OM NOM language bothers me the most; while I thought it funny as a kid, it wasn't absurdly used in every single situation. It was a random "Oh lol" moment. Now, as with pretty much every other joke predominantly on the internet, it's overused and aggravating. Sure, it might be funny as a completely out of place "We just wiped, dragon went OM NOM" kind of thing, but it has no place in my eyes. I will resist the urge to tell people to stop their stupid language if they spam that in trade. I'll report them for spamming, and I'll laugh at them for it.

If they add any more horrible jokes to the pandas, I might not even play wow anymore. I don't care how awesome the Horde vs Alliance quests will (hopefully) be, the Pandaren are making me sick with every update. If they just stayed as they were, before the bad dances, before the bad hairstyles, before all the stupid pop culture references, I might've liked them. I might've given them a chance. To quote the raven, "NEVERMORE."

That is my honest outlook on this new Panda stuff. Again, I mean no offense to anyone, so don't take any. I did leave out some phrases that I wanted to say, as they were not appropriate for posting, but do note that I truly hate female pandaren with a passion.

Just as a note, the om nom thing is just a temporary joke in beta until they complete the language. ;)

Am I the only one who LOVES the highlights, and wishes they were there for more races? (I'm thinking this is probably just teasing us with one of the features of the new models whenever they're released)

Yeah, all the colors are available for both color skins, I just took pictures in a hurry. XD If there's a specific color/hairstyle you wanna see that I left out, I can always take it for you. :D

No, considering a whole bunch of people have already said they liked them.

I like them but since everyone is perfectly aware of how out of place they are, I really wish they'd take them and put them on other races instead/as well. Blood elves would suit it for sure.

Thing is, they're not out of place. They're just taking from a different segment of Asian culture. Instead of ones from long ago, they're borrowing from more recent stuff. If you walk through some districts of Tokyo today you'll see every color there. Often quite like they're being represented with the pandaren.

Personally I like them. As for people that hate the pandaren hating the hair colors. No kiddin'. lol If you expected a REAL panda bear meandering around or ACCURATE representation of any one Asian culture, boy are YOU playing the wrong game.

I like the hair colors. I'll be using green and purple with my characters.

I just wish they'd put my hairstyle back in. The long pony tail with chopstics and two long front bangs. Same one the female 'Hero character' uses. I'm going to be very dissapointed if it's not re-introduced, or at least possible in the barber house.

I like them though I think some of the color choices are a bit too bright.

I think it's still in game...you have to remember, there's like three extra barber shop hairstyles, and so far it's a long ponytail with long bangs, long bangs and chopsticks, and bean buns with a flower hairclip. I'm pretty sure that's all the extra styles.

*scratching head* Out of place when Ganguro has been going on for so long? O.o;

https://www.google.com/search?q=ganguro ... 66&bih=665

I dunno about ya'll, but the those cultures have a long history of doing interesting, and colourful things. From being seriously epic circus performers to this fashion trend, to the SUPER bright and colourful Tokyo and intense fireworks displays and dragons, they aren't afraid of pushing what other cultures would consider "acceptable" and "fashionable". Just do a google search on Chinese Fashion and you'll see they LOVE bright colours just as much as Japan. Plus, 3d nail art? Yes, please! At least our Pandaren females aren't taking part in foot binding...

One thing I've learned due to my career is that people (and the best characters!) are never one sided. They're never described as just "wise" or "ethereal" or "crazy" or "passionate" (etc). Even very negative people have moments of positivity. The fact of the matter is, in my view, Blizzard put more thought into the Pandaren to make them more believable. They aren't just stoic, they laugh and have fun, too! They can kick butt and knock back some brew! In other words: they aren't one sided. One sided character types are very... boring.

Just like me! When I'm not on camera for work, I wear bright blue hair extensions amongst all the red and honey tones. I also wear glasses. (and then! no one recognizes me! HA!) So, this is just one more piece of the onion that makes Pandaren have depth and reality; and makes me relate to my character more.

<3 you Galaxy!

I love these hairstreaks, but I can totally see why people are turned off by them. Too much "Crouching Tiger" and not enough Jpop. Have you seen Jpop? Omg or visual Kei. These hairstreaks are positively tame by comparison!

Aaallll of this is visual kei. They're rock bands. Streaky hair is like, par for the course. Maybe it's a requirement??? Idk, Japan is strange.

I'm going to use the black ones. Personally don't like the colours and I quite frankly don't care.

I don't think that's so much the problem as it is that they look poorly done. When I first saw them, I thought it was another version of the "pink box" bug. There's almost no definition to them.

If they can fix that so they look a bit more natural, I'd have no problem with them.

The hair streaks are awesome but I just wish we had more hairstyles!

I am not a fan of -any- of the current ones right now, honestly, and the one that I did like appears to be removed in more recent Beta builds. I know it's tradition for them to have their hair pinned up but how about a high ponytail or something instead of 800 kinds of buns/pigtails? Also, something that frames the face more would be really nice, it hides their roundness. One of the reasons I liked the long pigtails style is because of the bangs.
