I forgot why exactly, but I do prefer the ElvUI. Something about the stuff and the things... yeah. But there's a difference in there that I do enjoy. :/ I'm sorry that he was an ass, though. But yes. I do love the clean and the simple and the tidy. So much better than those busy UIs I see all over Curse @.@ I already have enough of a problem remembering where my buttons are without them being all tiny and spread all over my screen xD

Exactly. :3 I prefer a more minimal UI as well as a tidy and clean one, not to mention one that looks nice too. I changed UIs all the time before but I've been using TukUI for almost two years now!

Oh xD Me too. I've had Dominos, Bartender, Perl and X-Perl, HUD, Bull Dog (That lasted all of 2 minutes, my god...)... I settled with classic WoW with a side of X-Perl til I got bored one day. A friend said TukUI is the way to go. I tried it out, liked it... found ElvUI later on my own and fell in love. Especially with the addition of the buff bars a couple updates ago, I could get rid of NeedToKnow :3 I'm a very happy hunter now.

I think if I ever get sick of TukUI I might give it a go for a change. (; When I'm able to log back into WoW, that is, everything will need updating anyway cause of the patch!

Yeah xD Well, the good part about getting locked out is that everything can be updated at once by the time you get back! >.> If that helps. At all.

I suppose it does. xD I'm sick of buggy GW2 already and it's only been out a day. Bugs everywhere and it keeps crashing on me, grr. I'll be happy to have WoW back!

I got the early start >_> Had it downloaded. Then I realized I forgot the midnight release. I tried to get on the next day and it wanted to download another patch after I'd patched it 3 days earlier. I just said screw it. xD Went mount camping instead.

xD I've got a friend who's trying to set me up, too. Sigh @.@

On a side note, I'm trying to solo Malygos. I got to phase three on my third try. But ever since then, I keep getting stuck in phase 2. I get the shit nuked out of me. That didn't happen the first time. What the hell...

So! There's apparently a bug that lets people get a 100% drop on the Pureblood Fire Hawk on Normal. Of course, when one friend said it, I was like "Way to get trolled in trade". Another one said it and I brushed him off. They formed a group and cleared 6/7 and my boyfriend (who I'd been playing with), went to go to the store, leaving me alone with said friends broadcasting for a tank. So I figured, why the fuck not. If it drops, at least I can roll on it. If it doesn't, I didn't waste more than 20 minutes of my time. I go in on my rogue because I figure I'm saved to heroic FL kills on my hunter so I tell the guy "Make someone tank, I'll come on my rogue". Of course... he makes someone tank xD And I come in and I pull barely passable DPS. The mount drops. I roll an 88, tying with someone else... And the hunter who kept dying to shit won with a 97. The raid leader doesn't want to give it to him for failing so hard, but the rest of the group whined about him being nit picky, so he gave it over. The guy sold it to a priest for 75k gold. GG.

Next run. Not one, but TWO others have a 6/7 save. One of the other people who had to shift out was the guy who led the raid that my hunter got half heroic saves on, so I figured I'd come on my hunter. We kill Ragnaros, brilliantly at that. The raid leader is peeved about the other hunter selling the mount, so that guy doesn't get to roll anymore xD So it's whatever. Two less people to roll against instead of one. We go in, my hunter's fine, smoothe kill as I've said. The mount drops and I roll a 92. >< Oh god yes! I won... the freakin mount. I've never, ever had an end raid boss mount! Much less during the same expansion it was released on! And it's all mine!

Of course, I got on my priest after that to help them with one more run. I have lots of 85s, but not a lot of them are geared enough for Ragnaros. I came in, I killed it, I helped spread the love. :3 It's a good day. So, being absolutely insane with happiness, I forgot to get a snapshot on my hunter, who won it, and got a picture on Angel instead:

I don't even know why he's kicking my ass xD I stay in the bubble to kill the two on the ground, then I take off. It's the same as I did the first time (third try) where I took literally maybe 15% of my health in damage between the start and end of the phase transition. Every single time after that, I go from 95% health to dead. So annoying.

Wow, congrats! I'd love to give it a shot while I can but I have no Firelands experience so no groups will let me go. >___<

What if you don't tell them? Just pretend you've done it many times! Watch some tankspot videos, you can't do so much wrong in normal.

And grats Shade, lucky roll ftw! :)

Oh my god, I'm so jealous of you right now. It's been my WoW-life-goal to obtain that mount before the 25th makes it near-impossible to get. I had a mount run last night, but my Internet went out after Rhyolith and I couldn't do anything about it.
However, I found out that they never did down Rhyolith, and the raid leader is re-hosting the run today!!

xD My highest level Alliance toons are a level 80 rogue and level 80 Paladin who I haven't touched in foreeever.

Ragnaros is cake as long as you do what they tell you to do. I can't tell you what your group will ask, but in general, we all sit to the right side of the room so the traps spawn there. Don't stand in the swirly stuff on the ground or the glowing stuff. Then phase 2 starts after he loses so much health. The group I had didn't even asign the Sons of Flame (the guys who come out of the hammer spawn points). The strong DPS and stunners just focused down the ones closest to the hammer and the weak DPS went to the ones farther away, then we all just worked together to bring them dowm. Of course, this wasn't even given as a direction, it's just kinda what we did. When I was on my rogue and hunter, I took the side with the most adds (he hammers in an uneven pattern so there's always more room on one side), and attack going from closest to the hammer outward. While stacked, he will start picking random parts of the room to turn into lava ground. Just don't stand in the lava ground (It's all red and black and cracked like a lava field and it hurts).

Then we go and stand on the right side of the room, grouped up but not stacked on each other (DBM will give you a circle if you remember to download the Cataclysm raids again separately) because the little balls he spawns on you hurt. Then we all move to a marker on the left side of the room, group up, AoE the adds down, then move back to the right side of the room just like before (we never had to repeat that stage again, though. DPS was high enough that we actually pushed a crap ton of adds at the same time more than once). If that happens, kill the Sons of Flame when he drops his hammer again, THEN kill the big guys. If the Sons of Flame hit the hammer, they will hurt you so much. Good news is that they get slowed to an RP walk speed if you get them below half health and CAN be stunned, so, good time for Intimidation. Kill the big guys. Easy.

Last phase spawns balls. Ranged should generally kite these between each other. If you attack one, it fixates on you and does AoE damage. So make sure no one is near it when you tag it off of someone, especially the someone you're trying to save. This phase doesn't last long so it's just a matter of pushing DPS and surviving the flying lava balls.

But in other words, knowing where to stand is kinda like playing DDR. Right, Spread, Right, Left stack, Right, Spread. Again, it varies between groups, but once you get a group, it's just a rhythm. >.> The hard part (for my groups) has always been the Sons. But if you have high enough DPS or a quick group, it's not really a focal point. And if you wipe (like my group did a few times each run), just think about what didn't work and how to do it better.

Really, the only thing a pug leader will care about is you standing in stuff and your DPS. o.o So keep an eye out for groups that aren't asking for a linked achievement, or ask anyway and say you know the fight. Watching the videos (I like Fatboss for 10 mans :3 They're funny) helps a lot, but experience helps the most, so just getting your foot in the door is always the big thing, really.

But thank you again everyone xD I'm so stoked >< Such a lovely mount.

Hence my entire talk down about Ragnaros xD If the group has a head on their shoulders, it's not a hard fight. Very DDR. >.>

In other news, I just finished buying all of the Netherwings! Lol. >_> I'd done the Netherwings twice already, so I had two of them. So I only had to buy the rest. It's still a nice 250 gold discount. And it makes me glad that I decided to get different drakes for different toons.
