The one in the middle of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, which was supposed to be closed off for milennia and is implied to have no Mogu before their invasion when we reach level 90? Or maybe... from all those ruins scattered around the landscape? They have no bases, no manpower, no resources and until Kun-Lai quests no real leaders. They just SPAWN.
Speaking of leaders, what happened to Lei Shen after his ressurection? He never appears again, not once. The biggest hint of his plans is the VoEB villain mentioning honoring him (which he could have even if Lei Shen was dead). He gets rezzed and then apparently chills out with Zul, sipping hierba mate in some Zandalari refugee camp.
I always assumed there were little pockets of areas of Mogu; sealed away halls and caverns full of their stone warriors, much like what we see in the Guo-lai halls and Mogu'shan terrace. Add those to the stone statues we see in their ruins and that's a decent start for the numbers we start to see.
Also, given that we see them calling souls into statues, I don't think it's too unreasonable to have them literally make more of themselves as this war effort goes on; carving fresh statues to help bolster their numbers.
I don't know about anyone else, but as I was levelling through these zones, each time I encountered Mogu, their numbers grew. From the relative sleeping few in the Terrace of Ten Storms (and their master there who I cannot recall the name of), through to the halls in the Valley of Emperors, eventually to the amassing armies in the Vale. The question of where that army came from never really struck me, because I had seen them swell, had performed quests in an attempt to stop this before it started, only to barely put a dent in their plans. How they started to rise up still remains elusive, but that could just be me being forgetful or not going to the right zone and doing the quests there.
As for Lei Shen... okay, you got me there. I'm just going to presume that he's off in his secret plot-lair doing some plotting and will come to bother us in a future patch.[/quote]
Yeah I agree Moon. I mean you see a few in The jade forest and they do seem to grow the more you quest. I think That's what makes them cool I mean you hear about them before you see them in some cases. There is a rare right by the hunting quests in the vally of the four winds in the ruins with the turtles who is just a stone statue unless you attack him then he becomes flesh. I think that's what they have been doing. Just waiting till it's the right time.
