Pets With Appearance Buffs no longer tameable

Upon an extremely long loading screen my flaming boar lost his red buff, serpent lost her red buff during a firelands run (unsure if she died or if it was timewarp) gonna check my other stabled pets Sneak helped me with.

Seems Blizz is putting in things to remove those buffs.....:/

I just logged back in and my pets are still small and smokey.

I use this buff since WotLK and never had any problems, why should blizz do something now.

Do something now? They've been removing the methods bit by bit since cata.

Forgot to update last night, my other pets from stable and on character still have the buff except: serpent, and boar, aforementioned reasons why.

They've gotten quicker about it, if the grub can be used as an example.

It only became general knowledge about halfway through Patch 5.1's lifespan. And it was discovered about a month or so after the Amber Parasite was found to be tameable.

Indeed, but it certainly wasn't an 'immediately fix' issue. I've had this conversation dozens of times before about the nature of Blizzard that can be observed from the actions they take and the length of time they take between them -- bottom line, it's fragile and semi-pointless except for RP or showing off, been reported and around since WOTLK dropped (lots of wowhead comments) -- I'm happy to have been informed but it's not exactly gamebreaking.

It was immediate compared to the flaming boar and oil stained wolf, t'was the point.
