Part of me wants to cling to the hope that they might adjust our signature shots to keep them as valuable buttons to push. He did seem to be ok with the suggestion of tweaking Aimed Shot and Chimera, whether or not this is to help make MM FotM for 5.4 remains to be seen. *shrug* The rest of it was sure defeating lol. I wish he was more open to the suggestions given on raid utility. If we can't have our burst niche and are relegated to meh sustained dps, at least give us a useful situational raid cd. Pet buffs/debuffs and Ancient Hysteria seem mostly marginal in 10 mans even(Last time I was relied on for Hysteria was when our Mage went on vacation >.>) On the rare occasions CC is substantially beneficial to a boss encounter these days, our cc kit is hardly unique. Misdirects always have their uses, but competent tanks don't seem have many threat troubles either. I understand Blizzard does not want to play a game of 'guaranteeing raid spots', but when you have one class that has neither high end damage output or utility to offset average to low dps, said class is relegated to perma-bench status in anything but casual content.

Despite them not removing the thread post cap, they'd only be silencing hunters if they went out and deleted every single feedback or complaint thread by hunters. The continuation thread is still on the front page of the PTR discussion forum, as well as a handful of other similar threads. I think the hunter community is waaaay too vocal to be completely ignored.

I hope GC does tweak the signature shots of each spec or at the very least relent a bit on the nerfing. From what people are discussing about the DPS charts on the PTR, Beast Mastery plays better if Kill Command is dropped from the rotation entirely, and as stated, Aimed Shot is basically worthless compared to the Arcane Shot buff. If you have Thrill of the Hunt specced into your talents, you already spam Arcane Shot a ludicrous amount til thumb cramping. This is just overkill.

Kill command being gone wouldn't be that bad. It's one less spell taking up space on my bar.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?

You know as a Druid main, even if I have two max level Hunters, cringe at his comments you know something is wrong.

I'm honestly reminded of how treants went from slightly op but insanely good dps/ass saving to beyond useless with Stampede. Does the fact much of the damage they provide come from their abilities not grasp? And the heal not on Readiness which saved my leveling Hunters no end of times.
My main's a Druid so I of course love critters. That counts for something right? Right?

The only real way we will see the class get improved in the long run is lowering the money they get until they realize they need to replace GC. I honestly think he is a huge negative for the game.

If anything, it's more likely Activision pushing them to make these assertive changes and then not respond. Activision is probably scared that reverting changes will prove that they know they messed up, but :o :o :o how could ACTIVISION mess up?!

I've been tweeting at the blues, but haven't gotten any responses. I'm really disappointed in Lore, he's gone all elitist in a very short order.

I'm worried that they might perform some sort of grudge maneuver by not announcing any changes until the last minute. We've certainly been stealth nerfed plenty of times in the past, often for no reason. The devs being rude or absolutely unresponsive is concerning.

And on the topic of Activision, a lot of game companies are trying to manhandle their customers by using bully tactics. If you've been tracking how Microsoft has been tumbling down the stairs of "WE DUN GOOFED", and their resentful "apology", I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Activision is following a similar track. Their CEO, from what the grapevine has brought on gaming websites, is a scoundrel.

I would not trust gaming sites 100% I've seen them report rumers as fact a lot of times.

But what ever the reason is for this I have no clue :lol:

Another apparent case of cluelessness is the Exp Trap change. They nerf it because Exp Trap no longer shares a cooldown with Black Arrow, but they fail to consider that BM and MM might actually use it as well, so both those specs get nerfed... ARRRGGHH@@@@@&$#*^)*#^%)&(#%^@&$^

Eh, most news I get comes from Kotaku, which is reputable enough. Point still stands that a lot of companies are taking a strongarm "I'm right because you're paying me" stance. I hoped that Blizzard wouldn't take this route, but I guess even they aren't immune to the changing times.

I'm...iffy on the Explosive Trap changes. I only use mine as a last resort damage boost or tagging mechanic. Traps are just one more loose end for the hunter class. We saw the death of Immolation Trap through it being rendered useless by patch after patch, even though most players had stopped using it long before it was truly useless. But after this string of nerfs, this is definitely kind of another kick to the junk.

A guildie of mine reported to me that Blizz is thinking of removing Readiness all together cause people are still complaining about it. Anyone know of such is true? I hope not...

That would only make things even more heated. People are quite fed up with the Dev's right now, and this would be adding fuel to the fire.

There was no definite on this, but they did say they considered removing it all together and just reducing cool downs on our defensive abilities or adding charges.

Could you imagine if disengage had charges similar to that of roll? Could be kind of nifty imo.

I still don't understand why they want to nerf a sub-par class to begin with...do they not look at WoL or raidbots and see where we are sitting atm? Does this who game revolve around the pvp QQ'ers??

Yet classes like Warlocks and Deathknights they are quite happy to let be OP....I just don't understand that. I do agree with tatiana, if we don't make some noise and silence the pvp kiddies they will just keep going to we become as useless as ret pallies in vanilla :S
