Honestly, I'd like us to end Jaina. She's looney now, and from the events in Dalaran, I don't think she'll ever be completely better. She went so crazy that her hair changed colour! That's just...odd. Plus, she kicked the Sunreavers from the Kirin Tor. They had no reason to be kicked out aside from her believing all the horde is bad, or whatever went through her mind when we took the divine bell back. Even when the threat of the horde was neutralised somewhat, as Vol'Jin took the lead (to which I majorly fangirled so much it wasn't healthy) she tried to convince Varian to 'end the horde'. He was so close, and you could tell she wasn't impressed when Vol'Jin got off with a warning. Then again, a troll that's slouched lower than you is easy to talk to. When he decided to stand up and tower over you without completely showing his fill height, you wouldn't try to kill him.
Between Varian and Jaina, I'd like both to let go of their rule. The Horde has had loads of movement in its leadership. The Allaince hasn't. Why can't, in this expansion perhaps, Varian or Jaina be tempted by demon blood and go all lonely or something? Or Malfurion! Gosh I hate his character. Broll Bearmantle (if anyone knows who I'm talking about/if he's still alive) would've made a better leader than him, imo.
this is more or less a sum of my own feelings. I quite liked jaina before. I was always fairly fond of her and even kind of excited to find out that she was going to toughen up a bit for the war. I didn't expect her to go all crazy-vengeance on everyone. I felt bad being on her side when she kicked the elves out of dal and did not approve of how fast she tried to turn on the horde allies who had helped them storm org. I am surprised the sha did not latch on to her as well considering how bitter she is. I wont be surprised if we have to put her down soon. i would be sad to see her character go but she seems pretty messed up now and i must admit horde have taken a pounding and ally shouldn't always be the good guys.
I'm glad our king has gone through some development and softened up a bit. I have spent most of my wow time disliking him but i can tolerate him now. i do wonder how long he has left though now that his kid is growing up and can make a viable replacement soon. I wouldn't exactly be sad to see him go but hes been changing for the better so if he did die he would probably end up a martyr.
never liked Malfurion. not even in the books. I have always felt that everyone around him has tried to paint him as being a better person than he really is. I think for all his faults I liked Illidan better.
as far as horde goes I am very much burnt out on orcs. what I want to see is vol'jin cement his spot as warchief. If i see thrall lurking about as a nursemaid I will scream. I want to see the new warchief calling some shots and getting the spotlight.
I also want to see the blood elves get a part of the action. which shouldn't be too high a demand since they had close ties to outlands. aside from the end of mop they have pretty much been sitting in silvermoon forgotten.
I would also like to see some development in sylvanas for better or worse. I dont think they would kill her off since there is no one to take her place and since she wont be going anywhere they may as well use her. I actually like her and would love to see her character develop. we have all these assumptions about her character and indeed she is far from being a good guy but i want to see what makes her tick. show me her hopes and demons. aside from getting some lore through the new undead starting zone quests in cata she has never really had much of an important roll. she has just been this dark brooding figure hidden away underground.
