First long term pet.

My first pet Archimedes (owl) was my only pet till I hit 80. Then I started collecting Spirit pets. I had Archimedes up untill a few weeks ago when I happened upon Aotona. I thought I could say he evolved, but I find myself misisng his black/grey plumage. He will be coming home to roost as soon as the stables expand. Once a week or so, I go to Darnusses to visit him and feed him. He makes coffe. We chat for a while, then off I go... back to the grind. lol

For Firewing, she had a spotted nightsaber (He was to be striped, but a bug turned any striped tamed cats into spotted.) Kept him. His name was Midnight. Around 22, I went through different pets until I had Midnight, the panther. I claimed that Midnight the first shed his spotted cub fur and earned a beautiful ebon coat. He lasted till 57, till I had the Rak'shiri itch. Midnight stuck around in my stables till 63, where I realized I just wasn't going back for him. So, I let him prowl the free forest of Terokkar, where he hunts moths and wolves and other creatures contentedly. Rak'shiri has been with me ever since.

For Terania, it's Phoenix the dragonhawk. He's going from 10-63ish, where I'll pick up a warp stalker, likely, and a corehound. Then he'll likely have a well deserved break.

For Xeyvron, my human hunter to be, he'll have a plagued wolf or something likely to 30ish, where I'll pick up a panther again. He'll definitely have some relationship to Firewing's Midnight, just have to find out what.

My longest term pets have been Timber, Strider Clutchmother and a Scarlet Monastery Hyena. Timber was my only pet from lvl 10-20. Released him because...I was a noob? Dunno. Timber and Teigan have had a rocky relationship since then, but the current incarnation known as Tannok is going well. Then, at 20, the Strider Clutchmother. She stayed until around, maybe, mid-70's, but has been coming and going ever since under various aliases, and room allowing, will come again when the stables expand. Then, around lvl 35, Magdalena the Scarlet Monastery Hyena. She was my girl and I dinged 80 with her. I miss her, but I don't think I will ever retame her. I tamed her with the help of someone who was a close friend in RL. Played a druid. Her and I have had a falling out that left a bitter taste in my mouth. And that hyena is a reminder the kind of friendship we used to have, unfortunately.

Gotta be Serket, My red and black coloured Scorpid. had my eye on him since i saw the one in the durator starting zone, and tamed him as soon as i dinged 10. still got him at 50, and planning to take him to 80.

Mine was a boar named Porkchops. I still remember the little guy! one of the ones from Westfall, I believe. Got rid of him level 47 I believe to get a diseased wolf, Deadbone, Who I had until 76 when my brother decided to drop him for a netherray he killed two things with adn then abandoned... That was the shortest term pet!

But I got Deadbone back when I became level 80, and since he was level 75 when abandonded, he was the same Deadbone as before. If we get more stable slots, I might ressurect Porkchops as one of the boney boars in the plaguelands

Mine would have to be Echey (kei) that I had for probably the longest time but I can't recall exactly. He was the one I leveled a horde hunter to get so he was really dear to me and come Cata ill be getting him back.. or maybe even much sooner.

Ximbol.. could never keep a pet for very long.. Always wanted to try a different one, but kept coming back to get the Blue Raptor that was in WC.

Bitka though loves the BG's and has 2 that she has had for a long time. Knockdown her ravager that she got at level 10 and has not parted with (level 61 now) and Clutchmother she got at level 20 and still has as well.

Xephyr (level 40) is alliance and also went and got Crush a ravager which she still has. But her favorite right now is Echeyakee which she got at level 35. She sat for over 3 hours trying to get a horde player to allow her to tame the cat from their quest. It was fun (and frustrating) to try and get them to understand I wanted to tame. Love this cat.

at lv 10 I tamed a generic cat from teldrassil, when I hit lv 13 I tamed a hyena in the barrens and loved him. At lv 30 I went to SM for the first time, and saw the red hyena's, I loved them even more. So at lv 33 I asked a higher lv hunter friend of mine if he'd run me through so I could tame one and he was more then happy to. I've had Nanaki from lv 33-80, He's my partner in solo, questing, raids, randoms, pvp, everything.
I do also have a green warpstalker that I've have from lv 67-80. Vlakoraydos is my happy tanky pet that I take for solo dungeon runs and running around cities with.
My last three stable slots are filled with whatever pets I feel like taming at the time (core hound, loque, and -cant remember)
