Aw man, thought that you meant it would be critter sized when tamed. That's a little disappointing, but nice to know we can essentially tame another critter-like beast.
Nobody is going to read this and see that I like to find ways to do things the developers don't intend for us to do.
Nor will anyone read this and know that I am mad at pink unicorns. I will not elaborate.

TY for the tip, OP. Though they don't remain small, they can be tamed by low levels. My level 14 hunter managed to tame two of them.
